Conditions for children: Children under 4 years old or weighing less than 18kg must use a child seat. If you bring your own, one child seat is free of charge, but if you use a second child or more, a rental fee will be charged (NT$500 per child).
Guide: One Japanese speaking guide will be provided for the entire tour.
The one-day lantern-raising experience is limited to 2-4 people per lantern. One lantern per person is not allowed.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 8 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 4 to 7 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
- For cancellations made 1 to 3 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Shenao Cape is renowned for its rich and unique rock formations, shaped by long-term weathering and sea erosion. Key attractions include Elephant Trunk Rock (though its trunk has broken off, its magnificent structure is still visible), the Chief Rock (resembling the profile of an indigenous chief's face), Candle Rock (a series of cone-shaped rocks with grooves like a chandelier), and Mushroom Rock. These distinctive geological landscapes are ideal for photography enthusiasts and nature explorers.
The geological structure of Shenao Cape is primarily composed of thick sandstone layers. Over long periods, these rocks have been affected by sea wind erosion, seawater scouring, and tidal action. Seawater continuously erodes along the rock's joints and cracks, combined with the abrasive effect of sand and gravel carried by the wind, gradually forming unique coastal erosion landforms such as sea arches, sea caves, and sea platforms, as well as various strangely shaped rocks, showcasing nature's incredible artistry.
Visiting the Elephant Trunk Rock trail takes approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on how long you spend taking photos. The trail is relatively flat, but some sections may be uneven or slippery, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. The difficulty level is not high and is suitable for the general public, but caution is still needed for footing, especially in bad weather or strong winds. Always walk carefully.
To get to Shenao Elephant Trunk Rock from the city, you can take a train to Ruifang Station, then transfer to a taxi or the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Gold-Fulong Line (Route 856) and alight at the 'Shenao Fishing Harbor' stop. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from there. Driving is more convenient; you can park your car in a lot near Shenao Fishing Harbor and then walk to your destination, allowing for flexible itinerary planning.
The fastest and most convenient ways to get from Taipei City to Jiufen are typically by public transport or by car. By train, you can take a train from Taipei Station to Ruifang Station, then transfer to a bus (such as routes 825, 827, 856, 1062) to Jiufen. Alternatively, you can take the Keelung Bus Route 1062 directly to Jiufen Old Street from Exit 1 of Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT Station, which is a popular choice for many visitors. If driving, you can take National Highway 1, connect to the National Freeway No. 62, and then follow signs towards Jiufen.
When taking public transport to Jiufen, the main route options are: 1. Train transfer to bus: Take the Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) train to 'Ruifang Station,' and then transfer to Keelung Bus routes 788, 827, 856 (Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Gold-Fulong Line), or 1062. 2. Direct bus: From Exit 1 of Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT Station in Taipei, take Keelung Bus Route 1062 directly to the entrance of Jiufen Old Street. We recommend choosing the most suitable transportation method based on your departure location and time.

Jiufen Old Street is filled with nostalgic charm. Must-visit shops include various shops selling specialty snacks like taro balls and grass jelly, such as Lai A Po Taro Balls and A Gan Yi Taro Balls, as well as stores selling tea and souvenirs.
