Jin Zhan Harbor Cruise Schedule
Oct 24 (Sat): Canceled
Oct 25 (Sun): Canceled
- Product Description -
The Jin Zhan Harbor Cruise offers two routes: the Sunset Route and the Asia New Bay Area Route. The Sunset Route operates on Saturdays, allowing you to enjoy the sunset at Kaohsiung Port. The Asia New Bay Area Route operates on Sundays, circling the Asia New Bay Area, where you can view famous Kaohsiung landmarks such as the Love River Bay, Great Harbor Bridge, 85 Sky Tower, and Kaohsiung Exhibition Center from the sea.
Venture into the restricted breakwater area to see the sunset on the horizon and the guardian mountains of Kaohsiung Port. The cruise sails to the foot of Shoushan and Cihou Mountain, circling the breakwaters that regular vessels cannot approach, offering a unique perspective of the busy Kaohsiung Port. To avoid disrupting vessel traffic and port operations, this route is limited to one departure per week. If you are lucky, you can witness the world-class scenery of Kaohsiung Port: the sunset over the main shipping channel. The golden sun spills into the main channel from outside the First Port Entrance, turning the entire water area of the First Port and even the whole harbor into a golden hue—a truly spectacular sight.
Circle the Asia New Bay Area and view the Love River Bay, Great Harbor Bridge, 85 Sky Tower, and Kaohsiung Exhibition Center from the sea. This route mainly circles the Asia New Bay Area, providing a glimpse into Kaohsiung's past economic lifelines—Qianzhen, Shijia, and Qigushan—bringing you closer to the history of Kaohsiung's economic development. View beautiful buildings that have risen in the harbor area in recent years from the sea, such as the Love River Bay, Great Harbor Bridge, 85 Sky Tower, Kaohsiung Exhibition Center, and Kaohsiung Music Center. It is the perfect angle for photography!

Established in 1990, Hai Zhi Bing is located near Sizihwan and is a popular spot for students to enjoy shaved ice after sports. At the time, students felt a small bowl of ice was not enough, so they asked for larger containers for their ice and drinks. We brought out glass bowls used for ingredients and flower vases to serve them, much to the students' delight. Later, students from the Department of Marine Resources at National Sun Yat-sen University jokingly called the large bowls of ice 'Hai Zi Bing' (Marine Resources Ice), which is how the name Hai Zhi Bing originated.
