  • Scan the QR code on your mobile or printed voucher at the 'standard' turnstile at any of the 3 stations (Awana Station, Chin Swee Station, or Sky Avenue Station) and enter the gate directly
  • Passengers are allowed to board or alight at any of the 3 stations as there is no restriction on the destination
  • Keep your ticket if you wish to disembark at Chin Swee Station and continue your journey on the cable car to the SkyAvenue Station or Awana Station

  • The gondola is wheelchair and stroller accessible; please use a foldable wheelchair or stroller
  • The capacity of each standard gondola is 10 passengers, including children; you can share the gondola with other travelers
  • Each passenger can take along 1 aircraft cabin size bag (22 x 14 x 9 in) on the gondola
  • Passengers with oversized baggage will be subject to a surcharge of MYR20 per trip
  • Storage is available for 24 hours with a charge of MYR10 at the baggage storage service at level 2 of the Genting Highlands Premium Outlets Cable Car building
  • Cable car services will begin at the Genting Gohtong Jaya Cable Car Station if Genting Highlands Premium Outlets Cable Car closes due to maintenance
  • Operating hours may be subject to change due to the impact of COVID-19; please check on the official website before visiting

  • Each ticket is for one way commute, if you want to take roundtrip transfer, please purchase 2 separate tickets. 
  • Genting Highlands Premium Outlets Cable Car is going cashless with effect from 01.11.2023. Other forms of contactless payments such as Debit and Credit Cards, QR Pay, E-Wallet and Genting Points (GP) are accepted at Genting Highlands Premium Outlets Cable Car self-service ticketing kiosks and ticketing counters.

Reminders

  • [Standard Gondola - Return] Two (2) QR codes will be provided per person: one for the ride up the cable car and another for the return journey.

  • Child with a height below 90cm is entitled for a free ride.

  • Genting Highlands Premium Outlets Cable Car is a non-smoking attraction. Smoking of any product that produces smoke or vapour is strictly prohibited throughout the journey.

  • Pets are prohibited in and around the vicinity, including all stations and inside the gondola.

  • Guests aged 16 or under must be accompanied by a supervising companion with valid tickets, passes or wristbands and must be supervised at all times. We reserve the right to refuse entry to unaccompanied guests aged 16 or under.

  • If you wish to disembark at Chin Swee Station, please keep your ticket(s) or QR code(s) in order to continue your journey to the top or leaving the resort from Awana Station.

  • Please be reminded that each passenger is allowed to bring along one aircraft cabin size bag into the gondola. A surcharge of RM20 (one-way) or RM35 (return) will be imposed for bringing an oversized baggage into the cable car.

  • Each Standard Gondola can seat 10 passengers, including children. Glass floor gondolas can seat 6 passengers.

  • Glass floor gondola is only available at Genting Highlands Premium Outlets Cable Car.

  • Wheelchair and stroller access are available for Standard Gondola. Only baby strollers are allowed in the Glass floor gondolas. Please inform our Team Members for assistance prior to boarding.

  • Please dress in appropriate attire at all times while taking the ride with Genting Highlands Premium Outlets Cable Car.

  • Guests are reminded to take care of their own belongings at all times, as the Management will not be liable for any form of damage or loss which may occur throughout the guest(s)’ journey, regardless if the damage or loss was caused by our negligence or otherwise.

  • If you have any comments or suggestions, please contact a Team Member of the Genting Highlands Premium Outlets Cable Car, who will be happy to assist you.

  • If there is any conflict or inconsistency between the English and other language versions of Genting Highlands Premium Outlets Cable Car rules and regulations, the English version shall prevail.

  • Complimentary Shuttle Service operating hours is from 1000hrs – 1800hrs. Interval of 30 minutes. 
  • Complimentary Shuttle Service Pick Up / Drop off Point:
    - Chin Swee Station Lobby Porch.
    - Chin Swee Caves Temple Hotel Lobby. 

With the above, Chin Swee Station operating hours will be revised to 9.30am – 7.30pm (Gondola doors will remain closed before 0930hrs and after 1930hrs).
