－ Attraction Introduction －
Located next to the Liyu Lake Scenic Area in Hualien, Chihnan National Forest Recreation Area was one of the three major wonders in Hualien's forestry history and the starting point of the Halun Mountain Railway. Starting in the 1930s, the Japanese planned and the Nationalist government expanded the railway, creating a nearly 50-kilometer-long forestry empire, the most glorious in Hualien. It remained in operation until a total logging ban was implemented in 1989. The Halun Station, located deep in the mountains, was closed and became isolated from the world, leaving only the Chihnan Station, which was transformed into a forest recreation area for people to commemorate this era of forestry. In addition to its historical significance, the forest in Chihnan is dominated by Moraceae and Lauraceae, mixed with plantation species such as the Formosan ash. The Styan's bulbul, unique to eastern Taiwan, is often spotted here, making it a great place to get close to nature.

Bouncy Car - The well-preserved material transportation railway in Qijiao Recreation Area has been rebuilt. The locomotive was made in Germany in 1961 and moved from Harun Workstation to Chinan National Forest Recreation Area in 1972 to carry tourists. The total length of the railway is 200 meters back and forth, and the driving speed is 5 kilometers per hour, providing tourists with the experience of recalling the old days of logging and transporting timber.

Consumers who purchase e-tickets for the Forest Recreation Area can enter the park after the staff sense the QR code at the ticket office of the Chinan National Forest Recreation Area, and parking fees are waived.
This ticket is limited to one ticket per person, and each ticket can only be used once. It cannot be reused after verification.
