The staff were very friendly and explained the meeting and boarding procedures clearly. They also reminded us of safety precautions during the trip, making our trip worry-free. Highly recommended for first-time visitors to Penghu who want to experience different island scenery in one trip – a truly memorable day trip!
The only downside was that there was a group of boats in front of the Blue Hole, which prevented our group from seeing the Blue Hole any further ahead... Otherwise, the SUP experience was excellent!! We were very lucky to see the first corals spawn!! The SUP instructors were also lovely and fun! I'll definitely come back for snorkeling again!
The weather was great that day. Cycling around Wang'an, it felt sparsely populated, but the wind was cool, and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. There were even calves and sheep along the way. It's a relatively untouched island, and I really wanted to stay for a few days to experience its rustic beauty. Qimei Island is more populated, so if you like a lively atmosphere, this is a great place. Cycling around the island or playing in the water is fantastic, and the scenery is stunning. The double-heart stone weir is a sight to behold! However, my time on both islands was quite short – only one hour on Wang'an and a little over three hours on Qimei. If I had more time, I would have loved to stay longer!
No one else mentioned the distance or lack of impact, probably because there weren't many people or boats at the test launch site, making it very impressive and beautiful. Also, there were no drone issues at the test launch site (because there weren't any), and the April weather was fine enough to wear a light jacket without the headaches from the sea breeze mentioned online. Overall, this was a family trip, and everyone from age 5 to 73 was quite satisfied.
