Although there were a few minor hiccups along the way, I was very satisfied with my Similan Island trip overall. The Similan waters were crystal clear and beautiful 🤣. Most importantly, having snorkeled in so many places, I've seen small fish everywhere, and the fish in the Similan were plump and large, seemingly well-protected. The boatman's service was quite good. The only minor drawback I'd like to suggest is that the boatman asks you to take off your shoes before boarding. I strongly advise against it 🙅. It's no fun going to the island in the middle of the day; once you do, the floor, stones, and wood are scorching hot, and there are also reefs and sharp rocks. By the end of the entire trip, I had four blisters on my feet from burns and punctures, which was really unpleasant. I strongly recommend wearing shoes to protect your feet. Otherwise, I highly recommend this must-do itinerary.
The island scenery is amazing! Plus, you can take photos endlessly since you don't have to paddle yourself. Every island is beautiful, and the crew even gave the girls adorable handmade rose rings. You absolutely must go! You won't regret it.
