Doi Inthanon National Park Tour with Trekking at Pha Dok Seaw or Kew Mae Pan | Chiang Mai
2026/08/17
The tour guide was attentive to every member of the group, providing clear explanations and maintaining a friendly demeanor. Currently, Chiang Mai is in its rainy season, resulting in abundant and powerful waterfalls, making it well worth a visit. The hiking trails are also scenic, offering opportunities to connect with nature. However, due to time constraints, the entire hike was continuous with limited rest. Slowing down and allowing more time to appreciate the surrounding scenery would have been even better.

Chiang Mai | Doi Inthanon National Park Day Tour – Thailand’s Highest Point | Easy Nature Escape from Chiang Mai

On the day of the tour, it wasn't raining, but the thick fog obscured the scenery quite well. Nevertheless, the guide was friendly and recommended we buy rain gear at the rest stop on the way there, and also informed us of other important points, which allowed us to enjoy the tour. Lunch was local cuisine, and I really liked the atmosphere. There was ample time at each tour point, and I had a very satisfying day. Thank you very much.

Chiang Mai | Doi Inthanon National Park One-Day Tour with Scenic 2Hour Trek | Departure from Chiang Mai

Som is our tour guide. She is knowledgeable and friendly. The tour is on time (driver is good) and every location is arrange accordingly. The Pha Dok Siao nature trail is beautiful with waterfalls, rice terraces, etc. It must be guided with a local villager also. Assigned with us (forgot his name) a young villager guy who can speak good English. We love our lunch and the roasted chicken is the best! Bring jacket, it can be very cold at the highest spot in Thailand. We learned a lot from this tour from history, Twin Pagoda, plants, local villagers/tribe etc. This tour is very worth it! Pls give them tips after the tour. And message communication with customer service of this operator “Join Is Thai” is awesome!
