Fortunately, the weather was sunny throughout the trip, allowing for clear and unobstructed views of the beautiful scenery in the Takachiho Gorge. Unfortunately, time was limited; a boat trip through the gorge would have made it even more unique. Although Mount Aso was closed to the public that day and could only be viewed from afar by Kusanagi, its grandeur was still palpable. It was a pity our stay was too short; in the future, I'll travel independently to experience the deeper beauty of different places.
Because of the large group, hiring a car and planning your own itinerary to visit more distant attractions and hotels is really easy and convenient. They'll notify you before departure to create a LINE group, so you don't have to worry about not being able to contact the driver. Highly recommended.
Upon arriving at exits 6 and 7, I didn't see any queues, and the glass doors were all closed, preventing me from exiting. I later discovered that I had to queue and wait for my turn before the doors opened. The local shuttle staff at Fukuoka Airport were very helpful and patient, waiting for me to show my order confirmation. Apparently, the link on the order required a password, and in my panic, I didn't realize that the password was immediately sent to my email, requiring me to check my email and enter it again. It took me several frantic attempts to figure it out! Thank you to the local staff for helping me find it!
Our tour guide, Ms. Xu, was kind and responsible. The scenery along the way was beautiful, and the rest stops were well-organized with limited time for restroom breaks. On both occasions, other group members were late boarding, so the whole group had to wait.
