The restaurant is located beside the river, with an elegant interior. The staff provided excellent service. We had originally booked for 7:30 PM, but because it had been cold for the past two days and I was very hungry, we requested to be seated earlier at 6:30 PM. My husband was delighted to be seated in a private room for two or three people. Needless to say, the food was superb. His eel set meal, prepared in three ways, featured crispy on the outside and tender on the inside eel, rich in juices, and surprisingly not the overly salty kind we usually eat – a completely unexpected surprise. My husband even said that if he wants to eat eel rice again after returning to Hong Kong, he'll have to come back to this restaurant in Fukuoka.

I ordered the 6000 yen set meal, which included raw beef kabori (corn purse). For someone who's eaten cooked beef kabori for 20 years, this was a refreshing change; it was perfectly tender. There was also the Wagyu beef sushi, with two different flavors: salt and yuzu pepper. I personally preferred the salt flavor, as it brought out the rich, fatty aroma of the beef. The yuzu pepper flavor, on the other hand, was surprisingly delicious and not at all greasy. Considering the quality of the food, 6000 yen was an absolute steal! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Fukuoka.

This was my first time joining KKday for a kimono photoshoot, and it went well. The photographer was very friendly and patient, even though we were quite late. Despite the rain, he still tried his best to assist and guide us throughout the shoot.
