To get to Milan Cathedral, take the elevator directly up via the blue gate; to get down, take the stairs. Milan Cathedral is breathtaking, but you'll still encounter scenes of renovations.
I really enjoyed the guided tour. It wasn't just about getting on and off a bus; it was about experiencing the city on foot. The guide meticulously explained Milan's rise, its characteristics, the rise and fall of important families, and the relationship between these families and the architecture. We even had the opportunity to explore the opera house. Finally, we went into the church where "The Last Supper" is depicted, where the guide carefully explained each character in the frescoes and the overall composition, giving me a feeling of finally understanding a part of Milan. While the guide was very professional, we encountered a group of less sociable tourists who couldn't concentrate throughout the tour. The guide had to spend a lot of time and effort managing these individuals, which affected the quality of the experience for the others. Clearly, a good trip requires not only a good guide but also competent travelers. Aside from the unqualified travelers, I highly recommend the rest of the tour.
