Palace of Versailles 1.5-Hour Chinese-Speaking Group/Private Guided Tour

1. Prohibited items: selfie sticks, tripods, large photography supports, suitcases, oversized backpacks, knives, sharp objects, skateboards, and hoverboards. Pets are not allowed, except for certified guide dogs. Personal bags must not exceed 55x35x20 cm. Large luggage must be stored in the self-service lockers at the entrance. Do not store valuables such as mobile phones, cameras, laptops, or jewelry; keep them with you at all times. Stored luggage must be collected before the venue closes on the same day; items left behind will be transferred to the Lost and Found office. Only folding umbrellas are allowed; long-handled umbrellas must be stored. Bring your own power bank, as there are no public charging outlets in the palace. There is no public Wi-Fi in the palace, so please download offline maps and information in advance.

2. You may take photos for personal use without a flash. Flash photography and fill lights are strictly prohibited as strong light can damage antique oil paintings and velvet furnishings. Photography is prohibited in special exhibition areas. Commercial photography, live streaming, and professional location shoots require prior written permission from the Palace of Versailles; unauthorized shooting will be stopped.

3. Only transparent water bottles without lids under 500 ml are allowed. There is drinking water available inside the palace to refill your bottle. Eating is strictly prohibited inside the palace; food and snacks are not allowed. You may only consume your own light meals in designated picnic areas in the gardens. Smoking is prohibited throughout the palace and gardens, with the exception of a small area in the Royal Courtyard.

4. Touching all gilded reliefs, antique furniture, wall velvet, sculptures, and exhibits is strictly prohibited. Do not climb over barriers or lean against display cases and walls.

5. Loud noises, running, and playing are prohibited in the exhibition halls. Please slow down in narrow areas such as the Hall of Mirrors and the Queen's Bedchamber to avoid congestion. Do not sit or lie on the ground, flower beds, or lawns; seating is only permitted on benches in the park's rest areas.

6. The palace interior is climate-controlled and can be cool, while the gardens are exposed to strong sun in summer with significant temperature differences. We recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl. On sunny days, bring a sun hat and sunglasses. The tour involves a lot of walking on marble floors and gravel paths, so please wear comfortable flat shoes; high heels are not recommended. Extravagant vintage costumes or theatrical outfits are not allowed for daily visits, except on official event days.

7. There are no restrooms inside the exhibition halls. We recommend using the restrooms at the entrance or exit before starting your tour.

8. Bringing luggage is not recommended. Large bags, suitcases, and large backpacks are not allowed inside. If you have luggage, please arrange for storage yourself. Large luggage cannot be brought into the palace, and there is no storage facility near Entrance B; please store it in lockers outside the palace in advance.

1. This is a local tour. The order and duration of sightseeing may be adjusted based on actual conditions such as weather, traffic, strikes, holidays, or crowds. Please be aware of this. The itinerary schedule is for reference only; actual times are subject to the arrangements on the day.

2. Due to weather, attraction policies, or other force majeure factors, the itinerary may be temporarily changed or partially or fully canceled. Please be aware of this and pay attention to notifications from staff or system updates.

3. Small group tours require a minimum of 5 people to depart, and large group tours require a minimum of 20 people. If the number of participants does not meet these requirements, the tour may be canceled or rescheduled. Private tours already include group discounts and are charged at the same rate regardless of the number of participants.

4. Participants must provide correct identification information (for packages including admission tickets) and contact details, and keep their phone reachable so that Customer Support can notify you of travel arrangements. You are responsible for any missed tours due to your own failure to arrange or be reachable. Please check your email or other effective social media channels to receive your booking confirmation and tour information.

5. Transportation is arranged based on the number of participants. Small group tours and private tours are led by a driver-guide. Large group tours with fewer than 20 people will not depart as a large group and will be led by a driver-guide. The driver-guide's primary role is to provide driving services and basic information or guidance at the attraction, which differs from the service of a professional tour guide. Please understand this before booking.

6. As this is a group tour, the driver will wait for you for up to 5 minutes to ensure the tour schedule is maintained. If you do not appear after this time, it will be considered a voluntary cancellation; no refunds will be provided, and the tour cannot be rescheduled. You are responsible for any risks associated with personal absence. Please be sure to arrive at the meeting point on time. Thank you for your understanding. Please strictly follow the meeting time set by the driver-guide or tour guide (if applicable). If you fail to return to the meeting point by the agreed time, the group will proceed to the next attraction, and you will need to make your own way there.

7. Please carry a valid ID or passport for identity verification on the day of the activity.

8. This tour is not suitable for wheelchair users, pregnant women, those prone to motion sickness, people with respiratory diseases, infectious skin diseases, epilepsy, heart disease, high blood pressure, acrophobia, or other travelers who should avoid excessive stimulation.

9. Travelers under 18 years old must be accompanied by at least one adult at all times. Seniors aged 70 and above must be in good health for travel and be accompanied by a family member or friend aged 22-69 throughout the trip.

10. Leaving the group during the tour is not permitted (except during free time). We appreciate your understanding. If you leave the tour on your own, the transaction will be considered void, no refunds will be provided, and you will be responsible for any consequences regarding your personal safety or property. During the tour, please confirm the departure time and take a photo of the vehicle to avoid getting on the wrong bus or forgetting to board.

11. Please respect local customs and follow the rules of the attraction. During free time, please be mindful of your personal safety and belongings. You are responsible for any accidents or losses resulting from failure to heed warnings.

12. This tour does not include insurance; participants assume all risks associated with this tour. Please act with caution, pay attention to your personal safety, keep your belongings secure, and take necessary precautions. The company and its employees are not responsible for any personal or property accidents and do not provide refunds. For international travel, please be sure to purchase personal travel insurance to protect your rights in the event of personal accidents, such as illness or loss of property.

13. The end time is subject to weather, traffic, and crowd conditions. Please do not book flights or boat tickets for the same day to avoid missing your departure due to unexpected itinerary changes. Please be aware of this possibility, as we will not provide any refunds or compensation for such occurrences.
