Product Info

Experience Balos on a private 4x4 adventure created exclusively for you and your group.

Your journey begins with convenient hotel pickup in Kissamos, where your friendly English-speaking local guide welcomes you and introduces the day ahead. As you travel along the scenic off-road route to Balos, you'll discover the history, culture, and natural beauty of western Crete through live commentary and local stories.

Enjoy breathtaking panoramic viewpoints along the way, with opportunities to stop for photos whenever possible. If you would like an even more memorable experience, you may choose to drive the 4x4 yourself for part of the route, provided you hold a valid driving licence and meet the required conditions.

Once you arrive at the famous Balos Lagoon, you'll have plenty of free time to swim in the crystal-clear turquoise waters, relax on the white sandy beach, or hike to the spectacular viewpoint overlooking the lagoon.

After your visit, you'll return comfortably by 4x4 while enjoying more local insights from your guide. At the parking area, you will be welcomed back with complimentary cold refreshments, including water, soft drinks, and beer, before your comfortable return to your hotel in Kissamos.

This private experience offers flexibility, comfort, local knowledge, and personal attention, making it the perfect way to discover one of Crete's most iconic destinations.
