Product Info

The Diplochahalo Gorge at Akrotiri, Chania, is a unique canyoning experience that combines intensity, views, and absolute contact with the wild Cretan landscape, ending at the impressive Seitan Harbor beach. The route runs through narrow passages and vertical cliffs, offering a constant change of scenery and a sense of adventure that peaks as we approach the sea.

Although it has long descents, the gorge is not technically demanding, which makes it an ideal choice even for beginners who are comfortable with heights. The penultimate descent of 38 meters stands out, the longest of the route, where about halfway through we encounter and explore an impressive cave.

The exit directly to the sea and the dive into the blue waters are not just the end of the route — they are the reward of an experience that is hard to forget.
