What You Can Expect
Purchase Notice
- Once the order is confirmed, changes to the date, number of participants, ticket type, or room type are not permitted. Please verify all details, including the number of participants and ticket specifications, before completing your purchase. We appreciate your understanding.
- THSR seats are assigned automatically by the system. We cannot guarantee consecutive seats, nor can we accommodate requests for specific seats or carriages. If you require consecutive seats, please indicate this in the remarks section; however, final arrangements are subject to the system's seat assignment.
- If you need to change your train schedule, please contact KKday customer service at least 8 days before the departure date. Changes are limited to one time only. No changes will be accepted within 7 days of the departure date.
- THSR bookings open 29 days before the departure date. You may place an order more than 29 days in advance, but we cannot guarantee that a seat will be secured.
- Since THSR tickets can only be booked within 29 days (including the departure date), if the 29th day falls on a Friday or Saturday, tickets can be booked up to the following Sunday. If your requested travel date exceeds the booking window, our order processing team will prioritize your request once booking opens. Final confirmation will be subject to the actual seat availability obtained by our team.
- Due to differences in regional and supplier systems, please submit any special requests when placing your order. We will forward these to the supplier, but fulfillment depends on the supplier's tour status. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- The definition of a child varies by itinerary. Any additional on-site charges are subject to the service provider's policies.
- The 'Child No Bed' option includes only insurance and administrative fees. If a THSR ticket is required, please select it when choosing the number of tickets. Any other incidental expenses must be paid on-site.
- Child No Bed: This means the child does not occupy a separate bed. If you decide to have two children share one bed, please select '1 Child + 1 Child No Bed'. A maximum of 2 children without beds is allowed (please refer to the specific product's child definition for any additional occupancy restrictions). Children without beds do not include hotel meals, facility usage, or amenities.
- Placing an order for a package does not mean the booking is confirmed. The order is only successful once our processing team confirms it and issues a voucher. Please do not place an order if you have any concerns.
Reminders
Before booking this product, please read the booking instructions and related terms carefully. If the person booking is not the traveler, the booker acts as an agent and is obligated to fully inform the traveler of the itinerary. Once 'Agree' is clicked, the booking instructions and restrictions are legally binding for the traveler. Subsequent claims by the traveler of ignorance or lack of understanding will not be accepted as a defense.
This package requires a minimum of 20 people to proceed. THSR reserves the right to cancel the tour if the minimum number of participants is not met.
The tour leader may adjust the order of the itinerary based on factors such as the number of participants on the day, local festivals, or weather conditions.
For those purchasing 'Concession Tickets/Senior Tickets', please ensure you carry valid identification on the day of departure for inspection by THSR station staff. If you fail to provide identification or if there are discrepancies upon inspection, THSR reserves the right to refuse boarding. You will be required to purchase a new ticket to board, and the original THSR Holiday ticket will not be eligible for refund or cancellation.
Nangang, Taipei, and Banqiao stations cannot be used as both the departure and arrival stations for the same trip (e.g., if the arrival station is Taipei, Nangang and Banqiao stations cannot be used as the departure station).
The price includes one round-trip standard reserved seat ticket for the Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR). The travel date must coincide with the hotel check-in or itinerary start date. A single order is limited to the same departure and arrival stations, and passengers must travel on the same train number. If the itinerary requires a delayed return, guests are responsible for their own return transportation from the hotel. This package consists of round-trip tickets; one-way refunds are not permitted.
The THSR tickets in this package are discounted tickets, valid only for the specified date and train. They are non-transferable and will not be reissued if lost; please keep them safe. Any tickets that are altered, damaged to the point of being unreadable, or photocopied will be considered invalid.
If the itinerary includes accommodation, check-in and check-out times are subject to hotel policies. For itineraries including accommodation, the promotional price is based on limited room types; actual availability depends on sales status, and room types cannot be changed.
For departures 29 days or more in advance, please fill in 2-3 preferred THSR train times for both departure and return in the 'Order Remarks'. The actual train times confirmed will be subject to the response from customer service.

- Please use your physical ticket or mobile e-ticket to enter the THSR station.
- THSR bookings are only available for dates within 29 days of the departure date. If your travel date is not within 29 days, we will book your tickets and send them out once the booking window opens.
- All passengers in the same booking must board and alight at the same stations; it is not possible to board or alight at different stations.
- THSR Holiday tickets are special project tickets with specific rules regarding the departure and arrival stations. For example, if you choose to depart from Taipei and stay at a hotel in Kaohsiung, your outbound ticket will be from Taipei to Zuoying, and your return ticket will be from Zuoying to Taipei. No refunds will be provided for getting off at intermediate stations, and any travel beyond the designated stations will require payment of the fare difference according to official THSR announcements.
- THSR Holiday tickets are discounted tickets and are valid only for the specified train on the designated date.
- THSR Holiday Cancellation Notes -
- According to THSR Holiday ticket regulations, no individual one-way ticket can be refunded.
- All refunds must be processed through KKday. THSR station ticket counters cannot process refunds or exchanges.
- Note: Per THSR Holiday ticket regulations, if multiple people are booked under the same order, any refunds or exchanges must be processed for the entire group. Individual refunds or exchanges are not permitted, and a processing fee will be charged for all passengers. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- THSR Holiday Cancellation Policy -
- Please contact KKday customer service first if you need to cancel your order.
- Due to administrative processing times, the cancellation policy will be based on the text provided by KKday below. Cancellation requests are only accepted daily between 08:30 and 16:00. Requests submitted after these hours will be considered as having been submitted on the following day.
- If the THSR tickets have already been issued, an additional cancellation fee of NTD 20 per ticket will be charged (a round-trip ticket counts as 2 tickets).
- Cancellations made 8 days or more before the departure date (excluding the departure date) are free of charge. For changes or cancellations notified 4 to 7 days before the departure date (excluding the departure date), a 30% cancellation fee of the total cost will be charged.
- For changes or cancellations notified within 3 days before the departure date (excluding the departure date), a 70% cancellation fee of the total cost will be charged.
- For changes or cancellations notified on the day of departure, a 100% cancellation fee of the total cost will be charged.
- (Example: For a departure on 12/8, changes or cancellations made by 11/30 are free of charge; changes or cancellations made between 12/1 and 12/4 will incur a 30% fee; changes or cancellations made between 12/5 and 12/7 will incur a 70% fee.)

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 9 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–8 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
