What You Can Expect
Purchase Notice
- Once booked, dates, number of travelers, ticket types, or room types cannot be changed. Please confirm all details, including the number of travelers and ticket specifications, before placing your order. Thank you for your understanding.
- THSR seats are automatically assigned by the system; we cannot guarantee consecutive seats, nor can we specify seats or carriages. If you have a request for consecutive seats, please note it in the remarks field, though final arrangements are subject to the system's seat assignment.
- To change your train, please contact KKday customer service at least 8 days before departure; changes are limited to one time only. Requests made within 7 days of departure will not be accepted.
- THSR bookings open 29 days before the departure date. You may place an order 29 days in advance, but we cannot guarantee seat availability.
- Since THSR tickets can only be booked within 29 days (including the travel date), if the 29th day falls on a Friday or Saturday, tickets can flexibly be booked up to Sunday. If your requested date is beyond the booking window, our processing team will prioritize booking your requested train once it becomes available, but final confirmation is subject to the actual seat availability obtained by the team.
- Due to regional and supplier system differences, please submit any special requests when placing your order. We will forward them to the supplier, but fulfillment depends on the supplier's tour status. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- Definitions of children vary by itinerary; any on-site surcharges are subject to the service provider's policies.
- The 'child without bed' option includes only insurance and administrative fees. If a THSR ticket is required, please select it when choosing the number of tickets. Any other incidental expenses must be paid on-site.
- Child without bed: The child does not occupy a separate bed. If two children share one bed, please select 1 child + 1 child without bed. A maximum of 2 children without beds are allowed (please refer to individual product definitions for specific limits). Children without beds do not include hotel meals, facility usage, or amenities.
- Placing an order does not mean the booking is complete. You must wait for the order processing team to confirm and issue a voucher to indicate a successful booking. If you have concerns, please do not place an order.
Reminders
Before purchasing this product, please read the booking instructions and related agreements carefully. If the purchaser is not the traveler, the purchaser acts as an agent and is obligated to fully inform the traveler of all itinerary details. By clicking 'Agree', the booking instructions and restrictions become legally binding for the traveler, and subsequent claims of ignorance or lack of understanding will not be accepted as a defense.
This package requires a minimum of 20 people to depart. THSR reserves the right to cancel the tour if the minimum number of participants is not met.
The tour leader may adjust the order of the itinerary based on the number of participants, local festivals, or weather conditions on the day.
For those purchasing 'Concession/Senior Tickets', please ensure you carry valid identification when entering or exiting the station for verification by THSR staff. If you fail to present valid ID or if there are discrepancies, THSR reserves the right to refuse boarding. You will need to purchase a new ticket to travel, and the original THSR Holiday ticket will not be eligible for refund or cancellation.
Nangang, Taipei, and Banqiao stations cannot be used as both the departure and arrival stations (e.g., for a trip arriving at Taipei Station, Nangang and Banqiao stations cannot be used as the departure station).
The price includes one round-trip standard reserved seat ticket for the THSR. The travel date must match the hotel check-in or itinerary departure date. A single order must use the same departure and arrival stations and the same train for both legs. If you require a delayed return, please arrange your own hotel return transfer. This package consists of round-trip tickets; one-way refunds are not permitted.
THSR tickets in this package are discounted fares, valid only for the specified date and train. They are non-transferable and will not be reissued if lost, so please keep them safe. Tickets that are altered, defaced, or photocopied will be considered invalid.
If the itinerary includes accommodation, check-in and check-out times are subject to hotel policies. For packages including accommodation, the promotional price is based on limited room availability; actual available room types depend on sales status and cannot be changed.
For departures scheduled 29 days or more in advance, please specify 2-3 preferred THSR train times for both outbound and return journeys in the 'Order Remarks'. Final confirmed train times are subject to the response from our customer service team.

- Please use your physical ticket or mobile e-ticket to enter the THSR station.
- THSR reservations are only available for dates within 29 days of the departure date. If your travel date is not within 29 days, we will book your ticket and send it to you once the booking window opens.
- All passengers in the same booking must board and alight at the same stations; it is not possible to board or alight at different stations.
- THSR Holiday tickets are special project tickets with specific rules regarding the origin and destination stations. For example, if you choose to depart from Taipei and stay at a hotel in Kaohsiung, your outbound ticket will be from Taipei to Zuoying, and your return ticket will be from Zuoying to Taipei. No refunds will be provided for getting off at an intermediate station, and you must pay the fare difference according to the official THSR price list if you travel beyond your destination.
- THSR Holiday tickets are discounted tickets and are valid only for the designated train on the scheduled date.
- THSR Holiday Cancellation Notes -
- According to THSR Holiday ticket regulations, no single leg of the journey can be refunded.
- All ticket refunds must be processed through KKday. THSR station ticket counters cannot process refunds or exchanges.
- Note: Per THSR Holiday ticket regulations, if multiple people are booked under the same order, any refunds or changes must be processed for the entire group. Individual refunds or changes are not permitted, and a processing fee will be charged for all passengers. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- THSR Holiday Cancellation Policy -
- Please contact KKday customer service first if you need to cancel your order.
- Due to administrative processing times, the cancellation policy will be based on the text below. Cancellation requests are only accepted daily between 08:30 - 16:00. Requests submitted after hours will be considered as submitted on the following day.
- If the THSR ticket has already been issued, an additional cancellation fee of NTD 20 per ticket will be charged (a round-trip ticket counts as 2 tickets).
- Cancellations made 8 days or more before the departure date (excluding the departure date) are free of charge. For changes or cancellations made 4 to 7 days before the departure date (excluding the departure date), a 30% cancellation fee of the total cost will be charged.
- For changes or cancellations made within 3 days before the departure date (excluding the departure date), a 70% cancellation fee of the total cost will be charged.
- For changes or cancellations made on the departure date, a 100% cancellation fee of the total cost will be charged.
- (Example: For a departure on 12/8, changes or cancellations made by 11/30 are free; changes or cancellations made between 12/1 and 12/4 will incur a 30% fee; changes or cancellations made between 12/5 and 12/7 will incur a 70% fee.)

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 9 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–8 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
