We depart at 8 am from Midtown West in Manhattan to pass by Columbus Circle, where you can see the monument to Christopher Columbus, and we will visit Lincoln Center.
We'll head to the Dakota Building, John Lennon's last residence, and walk through Strawberry Fields.
On the way, we'll see the San Remo Towers and the American Museum of Natural History. We'll cross Central Park to Fifth Avenue, also known as "Museum Mile," where we'll see the Jewish Museum and the Cooper Hewitt from the John Purroy Mitchel Memorial and the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir. We'll continue on to see the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, the Metropolitan Museum, The Frick Collection, and the Central Park Zoo.
Then, en route to the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge, we'll cross over to the Queens Bridge Park vantage point, where we can photograph wonderful views of the Big Apple. Next, we'll enter the Astoria neighborhood, where we'll see NYCHA projects. Then, heading north, we'll arrive in the Bronx, where we'll visit the Joker Stairs and continue on to Yankee Stadium. We'll pass by the Civil Court, the courthouses, and the Criminal Court. We'll visit the outside of Precinct 42, where scenes from the movie Fort Apache were filmed. There will be plenty of time to photograph iconic graffiti such as the Big Pun mural and I Love The Bronx.
We'll cross the Bronx Whitestone Bridge to the residential area of Malba in Queens. Continuing our tour, we'll see the New York Times printing plant and visit Flushing Meadows Corona Park, where the Mets' stadium, known as CitiField, the US Open National Tennis Center and the Unisphere, or globe, are located. The latter has been the setting for films such as Men in Black, Captain America and Tomorrowland.
We will then go to the borough of Brooklyn to visit the famous Williamsburg neighborhood, home to the Orthodox Hasidic Jewish community, known as the second largest outside of Israel.
Crossing the Manhattan Bridge, we'll enter Chinatown and SoHo, passing by Federal Plaza and the Manhattan Criminal Court. Finally, we'll see the Brooklyn Bridge and City Hall, culminating near the Ground Zero area (Broadway Avenue and Barclay Street), where you can enjoy Downtown Manhattan on your own.
