Los Angeles: Private Surfing Lesson with Equipment Rental｜United States

Learn to surf in the Pacific Ocean with a private lesson in Santa Monica or Manhattan Beach. Choose a time that suits you and get ready to ride some waves!

Students meet their personal surf instructors at the beach and get fitted with a wetsuit and surfboard. Students should bring a towel, sunscreen, and regular swimsuit to wear beneath the provided full-body wetsuit which will provide maximum comfort while surfing. From there, learn the basics of surfing on the sand before heading into the water for an epic surf experience.

Your surf instructor will cover how to safely approach the ocean, paddle, "pop-up" on the surfboard, balance and enjoy riding waves all the way to the sandy shore. After each wave, students get tips and feedback from their instructor to improve and get the most out of every wave.

To finish the session, be sure to ask your instructor how to "throw a shaka" and spread the stoke!
