You can add your e-ticket to the official app, which includes Fastpass to save a lot of time; however, it doesn't apply to the most popular attractions (such as Star Wars), but the waiting time on weekdays isn't as exaggerated as in Japan, so it's acceptable. While you can't experience both parks in one day, the flexibility to switch between them at any time is very convenient.

Our guide, Summer, introduced us to the local culture and scenery in both languages. The beautiful scenery, natural landscapes, and urban cities along the way made it a perfect trip for first-time visitors to the American West!

This should be my first and last time buying a Universal Studios VIP package. I like the services included: valet parking, welcome breakfast, professional guide leading a quick experience of each major attraction, buffet lunch, and a detailed tour of the Universal Studios theme park. However, it's quite expensive, so one visit is recommended. The downside is the lack of freedom; we were rushing from one attraction to another. From 10:30 AM, a guide led our group of 15 on a tour until 4:30 PM. We only had 6 hours to sit down and rest, with just 40 minutes for lunch before we had to gather again. There was no time to shop at the surrounding stores, and we had to use the restroom quickly to avoid making our group wait. If you want to leisurely explore the park, you only have 3 hours of free time after the tour ends, but since you'll likely be exhausted, it's easier to leave. This kind of experience is suitable for young people, but not for the elderly or children, because most of the attractions, except for the theme park tours, are quite thrilling. You can't leave the rides even if you don't ride them; you have to wait in place. This isn't mandatory, though; you can explore on your own whenever you want, but that defeats the purpose of buying the VIP package.
