For those who want to explore Vienna, the Vienna City Card is a great way to spend less on everything – from sightseeing to entertainment to food and shopping.

With the Vienna City Card, you can go anywhere in Austria's beautiful capital. Upon activation, you will have 24, 48, 72 hours or 7 days to explore the entire city with free and unlimited access to public transportation, including metro, trams, regional trains, buses, and night buses (zone 100). The use of public transport is not included in the 7-day Discount Only Card.

Enjoy countless benefits and discounts at all the important museums and attractions, as well as at other points of interest such as theatres, concerts, and shops, 20% off consumption at each of the participating restaurants, wine bars and much more for the duration of your stay (max. 7 days).

Reminders

  • Please refer to your voucher for final information regarding meeting points, pick-up locations, and pick-up time

  • Know in advance:Discounts only option allows guests to enjoy all Vienna City Card discounts and offers for 7 days by foot. It does not include a Wiener Linien transport ticket, making it perfect for visitors with a Klimaticket or those who prefer exploring the city on foot.

  • Upon purchase, you will receive a voucher code that you can use to configure your card on the official website. There you can choose your desired delivery method for the Vienna City Card between a print@home ticket or an app ticket. Instructions on how to download your card will be provided after booking

  • Your city card is activated from the first day you start to use it, not from the date of purchase. It will remain valid for the length of time specified by the kind of card: 24, 48, 72 hours or 7 days

  • The 7-day Wiener Linien (public transportation) ticket is valid for 7 calendar days from the start of validity until 00:59am on the 8th day and the benefits can be used during the same period

  • Get access to all details and discounts in the free app "ivie - Wien City Guide". The app is the official city guide app of Vienna with explanations of all famous sights and is available for Android and iOS

  • One child up to the age of 15 or one dog travels free of charge with every Vienna City Card holder

  • Please note: the airport lies outside Vienna and your card is only valid within municipal limits. Your Discount Only card does not include public transport and is valid for 7 calendar days from the specified start date
