Although the round trip takes 7-8 hours by car, the scenery along the way is breathtaking and magnificent. The tour guide also provides insightful commentary on the landscape, culture, and corresponding Austrian history in a lighthearted and humorous style, making the long journey almost imperceptible. Hallstatt truly is a world-class destination, a must-see at least once in a lifetime. More importantly, the guide's recommendations for unique photo opportunities and delicious food greatly enhanced the trip! Highly recommended!!
It's fun to shop, but the only problem is that there won't be enough time and it will be crowded. Remember to research the brands you want to visit beforehand to make your shopping more efficient.
Although the entrance fees to the four attractions are quite expensive, the overall experience is convenient, user-friendly, and reasonably priced. I would recommend it; if time allows, you can buy tickets for more attractions. Vienna is great!!
The Kiss at Belvedere Palace is definitely worth seeing. It gives you a better understanding of Klimt, and there are also paintings by Monet inside. There's a café next door where you can grab a bite to eat before heading back in to see the exhibition. (The staff will tie a paper bandage around your wrist.) There are very few restrooms inside, so be prepared to queue. I recommend going up to the second floor where there's a sofa area to carefully examine the paintings on the dome of the main hall. The garden view from inside the palace is also particularly beautiful.
