Upon arrival at the fireworks display venue, please be aware that there are no covered areas for shade until sunset, and temperatures are expected to be very high. Please be sure to bring a hat or parasol.
The paid seating area is approximately 2 tsubo (1.8m x 3.6m) and has a capacity of 8 people, with a blue tarp laid out. You will be seated with other customers. We recommend bringing your own cushion or seating. We also recommend packing your belongings as compactly as possible.
A light snack of pork cutlet sandwich (3 pieces) and tea is included. Due to expected crowds, it may not be possible to purchase meals at the venue. We recommend bringing your own non-perishable snacks, sweets, and drinks.
In the event of severe weather, the Ashikaga Fireworks Festival Executive Committee (Ashikaga Chamber of Commerce and Industry) may decide to postpone or cancel the fireworks display. If a decision is made before the tour departs from Tokyo Station, your trip will be cancelled. If no decision is made before departure, the tour will depart as scheduled. Please note that no refunds will be given for tour fees after departure.
It usually takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk from the bus parking area to the viewing seats. Please wear comfortable walking shoes that you've been wearing for a while.
If traffic congestion occurs in the city after the fireworks display, the estimated arrival time at Tokyo Station is 23:40, but there is a possibility of delays. Please note that any taxi or accommodation costs incurred if you arrive after the last train will be at your own expense.
A bus guide will not be accompanying the tour. Therefore, there will be no commentary service from the bus window.
