Product Info
- Choose one piece of unglazed pottery—such as a free cup, plate, or mug—and create your own original tableware by painting pictures or writing words. You can sketch with a pencil first, so you can relax and enjoy the process. The experience takes about 1 hour. It is very popular among school trip students and group travelers.
- A simple finish in blue on a white background
- Using a blue pigment called 'gosu', you will paint directly onto the white surface. Even with just one color, adding shading to your drawings creates a simple yet tasteful result. It is a great way to capture the scenery of your Nara trip or add a message to make a thoughtful gift.
It will be carefully fired in the Manyo kiln. I can't wait for it to arrive!

- Many people mistake us for a nearby pottery studio, so please be sure to check the map and signs. [Regarding firing] It takes about 1 to 2 months for your piece to be fired and ready for pickup. Finished pieces can be shipped to you via cash on delivery. We fire all pieces together, so if you have only a few pieces, it may take up to 3 months. Thank you for your understanding.

- [Regarding accompanying persons] Due to limited seating, we ask that accompanying persons refrain from attending alone.

*If the parking lot is full, we apologize, but please use another paid parking lot.

● From Kintetsu Nara Station, take the bus bound for Tenri and walk 5 minutes from the Fukuchiin bus stop.
● From JR Nara Station, take the city loop bus and walk approximately 5 minutes north from the Tanaka-cho bus stop.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 2 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 0 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
NOTE
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
