Located in Asakusa, Taito City, Tokyo, Asakusa Hanayashiki is Japan's oldest amusement park, with a history spanning over 170 years since its origins in 1835 (Tenpo 6) during the Edo period. It officially opened in its current form in the heart of Asakusa in 1853 (Kaei 6) and has become an indispensable part of Asakusa tourism. Within the Showa-era nostalgic park, 17 attractions, festival-style game stalls, and eateries stand side by side, offering everything from thrilling roller coasters to small rides for toddlers, catering to all age groups. - The roller coaster is scheduled to be closed for maintenance from May 11 to July 17, 2026; the skyship is scheduled to be closed for maintenance from June 2 to July 10, 2026.
- In case of severe weather, the park may suspend the operation of some or all facilities.
- Entry Rules and Precautions -
- This ticket is valid for the specified date and time slot; please arrive on time for your chosen time slot. Whether you will be admitted if you are late depends on the situation on the day and cannot be guaranteed.
- The final entry time is 30 minutes before closing time.
- Children under 4 years old must be accompanied by an adult of junior high school age or above to ride amusement facilities; the fare for one accompanying person is free. However, children under 4 years old may ride independently if they meet the height requirements for roller coasters, Disk-O, Little Star, etc., but will need to pay separately.
- If you need to re-enter, please inform the exit staff and collect a re-entry ticket before leaving.
- Some rides are not included in the unlimited play plan and require additional payment.
