- Casual bonsai that anyone can easily enjoy♪ We offer opportunities (products and experiences) to enjoy having bonsai by your side, focusing on tree species, sizes, and styles that are relatively easy to maintain and care for on a daily basis. Our 'Casual Bonsai Making Experience' is held in Midori Ward, Saitama City. We look forward to your participation! 〜Experience Flow〜 ① Imagine the finished product by combining seedlings and pots♪ Choose your favorite from 3 to 4 types of seasonal seedlings and pots prepared at the venue. ② Prepare the bonsai seedling. ③ Place the seedling in the pot and reconfirm your image. ④ Plant the seedling in the pot and secure it. ⑤ Water the plant and apply moss. ⑥ After final adjustments, take a commemorative photo♪ Taking a photo of the finished state is helpful for future maintenance.
- You can experience how to create bonsai, which recreates the beauty of nature with your own hands, and learn how to manage it daily.
- By having a bonsai, which is a miniature version of the great outdoors, by your side, you can gain the joy of facing nature at any time. Touching the seasonal changes of the bonsai and its slow but certain growth, and interacting gently with the greenery and soil, will not only heal you but also lead to vitality for tomorrow.
- You can experience bonsai making inside a traditional Japanese house.
- The bonsai making experience is held in a venue that was built in 1965 and used until 2020, which has been renovated while fully retaining the atmosphere of a Japanese residence. The garden and fields adjacent to the venue building still maintain an environment that symbolizes Japanese rural culture, allowing you to feel the original landscape of the countryside.
- If you cannot take the bonsai back to your home country
- There is no problem with you enjoying the bonsai work you created during this experience within Japan, but from the perspective of plant quarantine, there are many cases where it cannot be taken out of Japan. At your discretion, we can accept the bonsai work you created for free. In that case, to make it easier for you to recreate the bonsai making method even outside of Japan, we can provide you with a 'Bonsai Making Procedure Document' that shows each step of the process with photos and explanatory text.
