Meeting Time:

• Please ensure you arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the designated meeting time.

• If you do not check in by the departure time, the bus will generally not wait for late passengers, and this will be considered a 'no-show'.
• All tours are by reservation only. The bus will not stop at locations (meeting points) that have not been reserved. Please take note.

• Hot air balloon experience: Available only in summer, you can ride a hot air balloon to overlook the entire resort and surrounding mountains.
• Mina-Mina Beach: This is Japan's largest indoor wave pool. Inside the glass-covered building, you can feel the atmosphere of midsummer at over 30°C at all times, plus the exciting experience of artificial waves! The year-round temperature-controlled indoor artificial beach allows you to comfortably enjoy beach fun even in summer.

Winter Activities:

Frost Tree Terrace

• Period: December 1, 2026 - April 4, 2026
• Located at an observation deck at an altitude of 1,088 meters, you can overlook the glittering white trees covered in ice and snow and the majestic Hidaka Mountains. You can reach it by taking a one-way Unkai Gondola from the foot of the mountain, allowing anyone to easily enjoy the magnificent winter scenery of Tomamu.
• A magnificent view that can only be seen in winter. Under the clear blue sky, the silver-clad world of ice and snow is a stunning sight that can only be enjoyed in cold regions. From the observation deck extending into the snowy mountains, you can see the ice and snow up close, and on cool mornings, you might even see diamond dust.

GAO Outdoor Center

• Features 29 ski slopes (suitable for beginner to advanced skiers).

There are various types of restaurants to choose from, including main restaurants, buffets, and restaurants serving Hokkaido-style casual meals. You can decide where to dine based on your mood that day.

• Forest Restaurant Nininupuri: A buffet restaurant surrounded by the forest. Through the large windows extending to the ceiling, you can enjoy the changing scenery of the four seasons. The menu focuses on dairy products from Hoshino Farm and offers a wide variety of dishes.

- Transportation Information -

1. By JR

• There are more than 10 limited express trains running daily, and it only takes 5 minutes from the station to the hotel.
  - Limited Express Tokachi: Sapporo ⇔ Minami-Chitose ⇔ Shimukappu ⇔ Tomamu ⇔ Obihiro
  - Limited Express Ozora: Sapporo ⇔ Minami-Chitose ⇔ Shimukappu ⇔ Tomamu ⇔ Obihiro ⇔ Kushiro
• Starting from March 16, 2024, all trains stopping at TOMAMU Station will be 'all reserved seating'. Non-reserved seating will be completely discontinued, so please take note. For detailed information regarding schedules and fares, please click here.
• Regarding ticket purchases: Guests can purchase tickets in advance via the JR-EAST Train Reservation system / purchase directly in advance at airports or stations with staff / or purchase at the reserved seat ticket machine inside Tomamu The Tower.
• Upon your arrival at Tomamu Station: Every limited express train stops at Tomamu Station, and there will be a shuttle bus to take you to the hotel. This bus is free and does not require a reservation. After getting off the train, please inform the staff which hotel you will be staying at, The Tower or RISONARE.
• Departing from different locations to Tomamu:
  - From Sapporo: There are direct trains from Sapporo to Tomamu Station.
  - From New Chitose Airport: You need to transfer at Minami-Chitose Station first: New Chitose Airport ⇒ Minami-Chitose ⇒ Tomamu.
  - From Obihiro Airport: You need to take a shuttle bus to Obihiro Station first, and then take a train to Tomamu Station.
  - From Asahikawa / Furano: The train will take a longer route via Sapporo. Please check the JR Hokkaido website for details.
