Product Info

== Mount Fuji Yoshida Trail Introduction ==

This tour selects the Yoshida Trail, the most popular of the four major Mount Fuji climbing routes. We will first take a bus to the 5th Station and then begin our hike to the summit from there. Please note that the summit destination is limited to the Yoshida Trail summit; it is not possible to visit the highest peak on the other side (Kengamine, 3,776 meters above sea level).

[Features of the Yoshida Trail]

◎ There are many mountain huts and first-aid stations along the way, making it safer for beginners.

◎ You can enjoy the sunrise (Goraiko) from various spots along the route.

◎ The trailhead (5th Station) is very lively, much like a tourist attraction.

The Yoshida Trail starts from the Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station and merges with the Yoshida-guchi trail at the 6th Station. The 5th Station area is bustling with many visitors and features rest and accommodation facilities, the Komitake Shrine, and more. At the 5th Station, we will change into our gear at the Fuji-Q Unjokaku. Since the bus used for the outbound and return trips may differ, please store any items you do not need in a coin locker or manage them properly yourself. You will typically have 30 minutes to 1 hour after arrival to prepare, eat, and get ready before departure.

Mountain Huts on Mount Fuji (Short Stay, Dinner, and Breakfast Bento)

You will stay at one of the following mountain huts. It is not possible to specify in advance; your guide will inform you on the day of the tour:

◆ Hakuun-so (8th Station / 3,200 meters)

◆ Ganso-muro (8th Station / 3,250 meters)

◆ Fuji-san Hotel (Hon-8th Station / 3,400 meters)

◆ Goraiko-kan (8.5th Station / 3,450 meters)

Mountain huts are dormitory-style and provide futons or sleeping bags. There are no bathrooms, showers, or sinks. Each hut has a shop and toilets, and offers commemorative services such as branding (for a fee). There are no changing rooms; please use the toilets or similar areas to change. Breakfast bentos are usually provided upon arrival at the hut.

== Mount Fuji Fujinomiya Trail Introduction ==

To climb Mount Fuji, the general method is to arrive at the 5th Station by car or bus and start the climb toward the summit from there. There are four climbing trails and five 5th Stations on Mount Fuji. This tour will begin the climb from the higher-altitude Fujinomiya Trail. It is relatively close to the highest peak, Kengamine (3,776 meters), from the Fujinomiya summit. The descent route will be determined by the guide based on the conditions of the day; it may be the same Fujinomiya Trail or via the Gotemba Trail, passing through the Hoei Crater before reconnecting to the Fujinomiya Trail.

[Features of the Fujinomiya Trail]

◎ Shortest distance for both ascent and descent

◎ Starts from the 5th Station (2,400 meters above sea level)

◎ The ascent and descent share the same route, which can be crowded

◎ The trail is straight and steep, requiring significant physical stamina

Mountain Huts on Mount Fuji (Short Stay, Dinner, and Breakfast Bento)

You will stay at one of the following mountain huts. It is not possible to specify in advance; your guide will inform you on the day of the tour:

◆ Mannen-yuki Sanso (9th Station / 3,460 meters)

◆ Munatsuki Sanso (9.5th Station / 3,590 meters)

◆ Chojo Fuji-kan (Fujinomiya Summit)

◆ Ganso 7th Station Yamaguchi Sanso (7th Station)

Mountain huts are dormitory-style and provide futons or sleeping bags. There are no bathrooms, showers, or sinks. Each hut has a shop and toilets, and offers commemorative services such as branding (for a fee). There are no changing rooms; please use the toilets or similar areas to change. Breakfast bentos are usually provided upon arrival at the hut.

After descending from the 5th Station, we will take a bus to a hot spring facility. The expected facilities are: Fugaku Onsen Hana no Yu or Tokinosumika Kirakubo.

[Important Notes for Mount Fuji Climbing]

- A guide will accompany you starting from the 5th Station. Independent travel plans may involve climbing on your own.

- Please understand that the itinerary may change due to natural disasters or rule changes.

- Please note that refunds may not be possible if the itinerary is significantly altered due to weather conditions or natural disasters.

- The times listed in the itinerary are for reference only; meeting and dismissal times may vary depending on traffic conditions.

- Any changes will be handled in real-time by the climbing staff or mountain guide.

- The tour may be canceled or changed if climbing becomes difficult due to worsening weather, natural disasters, or unforeseen circumstances.

- For safety reasons, you must follow the instructions of the mountain guide, staff, and the Mount Fuji Climbing Safety Guidance Center.

- Please be sure to cooperate if the itinerary is significantly changed due to instructions from the mountain guide, staff, or the Mount Fuji Climbing Safety Guidance Center caused by natural disasters, etc.

- Those wishing to rent equipment can arrange for gear rental through the mountain hut.

- If a customer is not properly equipped and is judged by the mountain guide, staff, or the Mount Fuji Climbing Safety Guidance Center as unable to climb safely, they may be asked to stop climbing, and no refund will be provided.

- If a customer leaves the tour midway, they will no longer be eligible for subsequent activities or coverage.

- Please use the coin lockers at the 5th Station for luggage not needed for the climb (excluding valuables). Please keep valuables with you at all times. Coin lockers come in various sizes; if they are full, the 5th Station facilities also offer paid storage services. Do not leave items on the bus; the organizer is not responsible for their safekeeping.

- If a customer chooses to stay at a mountain hut other than the one originally scheduled (or stays elsewhere temporarily), the accommodation costs must be borne by the customer, and no refund will be provided.

- Please understand that if you fail to descend together from the summit (Mount Fuji summit, Fujinomiya, Gotemba, Subashiri trails), services for the remainder of the tour will not be provided.

- No refunds or liability compensation will be provided if you withdraw midway or suffer injuries such as falls due to personal circumstances.

- The Mount Fuji 5th Station is at an altitude of approximately 2,300 meters, and the summit is 3,776 meters. It takes about 6 hours to reach the summit and 3 hours to descend.

- Please notify the guide immediately if you feel unwell due to altitude sickness or other reasons.

- Toilets at the Mount Fuji 5th Station require a fee (100–300 JPY); please bring your own small change.

- Water resources on the mountain are scarce; no water is provided other than drinking water. Please bring sufficient water.

[Important Notes for Mountain Huts]

- Please be aware that the mountain huts used during the climbing tour are different from general accommodation facilities (hotels, inns, etc.).

- Mountain huts are arranged according to the tour plan, but those not on a designated plan cannot specify a hut. The actual hut used will be announced on the day of departure. Even with a designated plan, the original hut may be changed due to unforeseen circumstances.

- Water on Mount Fuji is extremely precious; you cannot use water or hot water freely. Each mountain hut only sells bottled water, which must be purchased at your own expense.

- There are no bathrooms, showers, or sinks in the mountain huts. Toilets are available for a fee.

- Bedding (futons or sleeping bags) is provided by the mountain hut.

- Rooms are dormitory-style with shared sleeping quarters for men and women.
