－ About A-Mei Tea House －

In the 1890s, a railway worker discovered placer gold in the Keelung River, sparking the gold rush era in the Ruifang Jiufen area. Jiufen became known across Asia as the 'Golden Capital,' and during its peak, it was referred to as 'Little Shanghai' or 'Little Hong Kong.' The site of A-Mei Tea House was once the only blacksmith shop in the Jiufen area. The tea house preserves the architectural culture and characteristics of old Jiufen; its exterior is constructed entirely of wood, exuding a strong Japanese architectural style. It makes visitors feel as if they have stepped into a scene from Hayao Miyazaki's film 'Spirited Away,' making A-Mei Tea House one of the most popular photo spots for international tourists and influencers in Jiufen.

Inside the tea house, the aroma of tea greets you. The shop uses strictly selected, high-quality local Taiwanese high-mountain tea, served with meticulously handmade tea snacks. Whether day or night, the view of the mountains and sea from the window is like a painting, making time seem to stand still. It is a perfect place to spend a wonderful time with your partner, family, or friends.

The shop primarily offers tea tasting experiences and tea art demonstrations, as well as specialty meals and freshly prepared drinks. Limited handmade tea snacks are provided daily, most of which are crafted in-house by A-Mei Tea House. For example, the tea cakes feature a crispy outer layer wrapped around a fragrant, warm tea filling that melts in your mouth. Other specialties include taro cakes with a rich taro aroma, delicate snowflake cakes made with pure fresh milk, and almond jelly, all suitable for guests of all ages to enjoy!

・Please use the voucher on the reserved date and time. You must present a printed voucher at the venue for verification. Reservations are held for only 10–15 minutes. If you fail to arrive on time, no refunds will be provided. Thank you for your understanding.
・Due to large crowds in the evening, reservations can be difficult. We recommend booking a slot before 15:30 to avoid the peak crowds.
・Child Policy: Due to seating arrangements, children aged 6–12 will occupy a seat. They are not required to purchase the tea snack set, but they must order at least one drink, juice, or meal on-site. Children under 6 can enter for free, but please note the number of children in your booking so the shop can arrange seating.

Q1: Can 5 people purchase only 4 sets for the experience?
A: Please purchase according to the actual number of people. A group of 5 adults must purchase at least 5 sets. (Children under 12 are exempt from this rule.)

Q2: How many tea sets should I book for two adults and two children?
A: You must purchase at least 2 sets for the 2 adults. For the 2 children, please decide whether to purchase additional sets or order other food/drinks on-site.

Q3: I am allergic to certain tea snacks. Can I have them replaced?
A: We recommend noting this in your order so we can inform the tea house in advance. While we will try our best to accommodate, we cannot guarantee it. Please consider this before purchasing, or inform the staff on the day of your visit to avoid specific items.

Q4: Can I just show the file on my voucher to the staff on the day?
A: Please note that only a physical voucher is valid for redemption. You must print the attached file and bring the physical voucher to the restaurant. Showing the image on a mobile phone or tablet will not be accepted.

Q5: If A-Mei Tea House is closed due to typhoon days or school/work cancellations, can I reschedule?
