The tour will start from heading to Philadelphia, home to the renowned University of Pennsylvania, or UPenn. Established in 1740 by Benjamin Franklin, UPenn stands as one of the premier private research universities globally. It holds membership in the prestigious Ivy League and was among the founding institutions of the Association of American Universities. Notably, UPenn was the first modern U.S. higher education institution to integrate science, technology, and humanities into its curriculum. Over centuries, UPenn has played a pivotal role in advancing human knowledge and civilization. Join us as we delve into the historic campus of this esteemed university before returning to New York.

  • University of Pennsylvania

The University of Pennsylvania (Penn or UPenn) is a member of the Ivy League. The university claims a founding date of 1740 and is one of the nine colonial colleges chartered prior to the U.S. Declaration of Independence. Benjamin Franklin, Penn’s founder, and first president advocated an educational program training leaders in commerce, government, and public service, similar to a modern liberal arts curriculum.

  • Penn Bookstore 

The Penn Bookstore has two floors and is rich in goods. The first floor is mainly for books, school uniforms, and souvenirs. The second floor is for books and daily necessities. There are souvenirs with logos everywhere from T-shirts, themed chocolates, rings, watches, mugs and more.

Purchase Notice

  • Customer under 18 years old must be accompanied by at least one adult
  • Pregnant women are only allowed to join the tour if pregnant for 24 weeks or less by the end of the trip
  • Please provide accurate and complete information including reachable contact number upon booking. Any losses due to inaccurate or invalid information will be at your own cost
  • Travelers who leave the tour halfway or miss the entire tour due to personal reasons (e.g. lack of travel documents, late arrival, sickness, accident), will not be refunded or compensated
  • During the actual trip, the tour guide or driver has the right to appropriately adjust the tour sequence, stay time or assembly time of scenic spots according to the weather, traffic, and other conditions to ensure the smooth progress of the trip. The opening hours and capacity limits of certain attractions and national parks will be subject to change from time to time without prior notice
  • Normal health conditions are required to participate and enjoy our full itineraries. Contact us for specific policies or information regarding passengers with disabilities who do need to provide advance notification to make a reservation. KKday does not guarantee a wheelchair lift-equipped bus and / or seating availability to disabled passengers without prior notification and approval
  • The vehicle type will be determined 2 days before departure, based on the number of travelers, which may include but is not limited to 7/14/55 - 61-seater vehicles, adjusted according to on-site availability, potentially offering other vehicle types
  • Infants under 2 will be charged based on the vehicle type used on the day and whether they occupy a seat. If you are traveling with infant under 2, please contact KKday in advance for confirming the available packages
  • Complying with local laws, children below 8 years old or under 145 cm in height must use a car seat inside a vehicle. Please prepare your own car seat. Rental service for the car seat is provided and the fee is $10.00/person per day. Please make a request upon booking to reserve your seat. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the participation without refunds
  • Bilingual tour guide in both Mandarin and English are available for this tour; please aware that for some experiences or attractions, bilingual guides may not be available. Local official attractions or tour operators may arrange for English-speaking guides or no guided services. Please be aware of this before making a reservation 
  • Please arrive at each meeting point ahead of time as the bus leaves on time. No refunds will be issued to late arrivals

Reminders

  • A minimum of 2 traveler(s) are required for the tour to depart. If the number of participants does not reach the minimum requirement, the tour will be canceled. An email regarding tour cancellation will be sent 3 day(s) before the departure date

  • Please arrive at the designated location 15 minute(s) before the scheduled departure time, as the tour will depart on time

  • Please refer to your voucher for details, and be alert to change notifications as tour guide may adjust based on actual on-site conditions, emergencies, weather, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances. No prior notice and no compensation would be provided. Please refrain from arranging other activities or flights on the day of the tour to avoid delays

  • Please note that each attraction may have different opening hours and capacity restrictions

  • Travellers may be asked to present their ID documents (e.g. passport, ID card) for identity verification during the tour. Please carry your ID documents at all times

  • All tickets shall be purchased by the tour guide. Travelers are not allowed to use tickets they purchased on their own (e.g. City Pass)

  • In the event of force majeure (e.g. weather, transportation, equipment failure, strike) resulting in tour delays which cause travelers inconvenience or lead to travelers paying extra fees for transportation not included in this tour, refunds or compensation will not be offered

  • In the event of adverse traffic, weather, and force majeure resulting in attraction cancellation, the supplier has the right to change the itinerary. The attraction tickets will be refunded (except those not covered in the package). Keep in mind that the registration fee is non-refundable

  • If you choose to leave the group during the tour , you need to sign the departure agreement form. The group fee will not be refunded

  • If a bus is late, travelers will be paid in part based on the length of the delay. The tour guide will explain the compensation details on-site; please comply with the compensation arrangements accordingly

  • When making a reservation, please provide a reachable phone number while you're traveling, and we strongly advise obtaining a mobile SIM card with both internet and calling capabilities for emergencies

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 16 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • For cancellations made 9 to 15 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–8 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once the cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 14 working days.
