  • The 'Great Buddha of Nara' is housed in 'Todai-ji Temple.' This temple was built by Emperor Shomu during the Nara period for the purpose of his faith and the protection of the country. The Great Buddha is enshrined in the wooden Great Buddha Hall, standing about 15m tall and weighing about 250 tons. The pedestal alone is about 3m high, 60m wide, and 50m deep. Looking up at its majestic figure, one is moved once again by its presence.

You can encounter many of these deer at Nara Park, a representative tourist spot in Nara. It is conveniently located just a short walk from Kintetsu-Nara Station, and the vast grounds are surrounded by well-equipped facilities.

  • Kasuga Taisha Shrine, which celebrated its 1250th anniversary in 2018, houses 61 auxiliary and subordinate shrines. Among them, the Meoto Daikokusha is the only one in Japan that enshrines a married couple. The ema (votive tablet) hanging area is filled with pink and white heart-shaped tablets, and the water fortune-telling, where characters appear when dipped in water, is also popular.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 2 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–1 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.

  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy.
