• Kume Island (Kume Island)

Located approximately 100 km west of Okinawa Main Island, Kume Island is so rich in nature that the entire island is designated as a Prefectural Natural Park. In 2008, the mountain streams and wetlands of Mt. Uegusuku were registered under the Ramsar Convention, and in 2010, a WWF survey discovered one of the largest coral reefs in Japan off the southeastern coast of the island, which attracted significant attention.
During the Ryukyu Kingdom era, when trade with China, Southeast Asia, Korea, and Japan flourished, the island prospered as a port of call between the continent and the Ryukyu Kingdom, and many historical sites and buildings that evoke that history still remain today.

From water intake to cosmetic ingredient: All the water used as the base for our products, which are made using a unique manufacturing method, is deep sea water pumped from a depth of 612m, 2.3km off the coast of Kume Island. Kume Island deep sea water is extremely pure water that has been circulating in the deep ocean on a global scale for over 2,000 years.
Until deep sea water is transformed into cosmetic ingredients: It is sent directly from the deep sea to our manufacturing plant through the pipes of the Okinawa Prefectural Deep Sea Water Research Center without coming into contact with the outside air. By applying our unique manufacturing method during the desalination and separation process into water, salt, and minerals, we refine 'KM-DSWP', a specialized water used for cosmetic ingredients.
