Product Info

A walking tour of famous wagashi shops in the Asakusa area, led by Reika Yasuhara (13th generation of Daisan Mannendo / President of HANARE Co., Ltd.), a famous Japanese confectionery researcher and the 13th generation of a long-established wagashi shop that has been in business since the Edo period.
In the first half of the tour, participants will visit famous wagashi shops in Asakusa and learn about Japanese history and cuisine culture through Yasuhara's commentary.
In the second half, participants will actually experience the making of two types of wagashi at ""Asakusa Kaminari 5656 Kaikan"".
The first is ""Kaminari-okoshi"", a famous Asakusa confectionery, and the second is ""Dorayaki"", produced by Daisann Mannendo, established in the Edo period. This plan includes a souvenir of Yasuhara's sweets.

  • For cancellations made 2 to 13 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
  • For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 80% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
