Embark on an extraordinary culinary journey in the hallowed halls of a centuries-old Japanese farmhouse! The idea began with the words of a Japanese-Brazilian woman residing in Hiroshima who said, "Despite having lived in Japan for approximately 30 years, I had scarce opportunities to learn the art of Japanese home cooking from the locals."

  • Experience the art of crafting authentic Japanese cuisine, distinct from upscale restaurant fare. Engage in friendly and approachable interactions with the locals through food
  • Even if you have limited knowledge of Japanese, food is a universal language that connects people from different cultures and countries. Cooking provides a great starting point for conversation, and the instructor will use simple Japanese to ensure easy understanding!
  • The program is designed to be enjoyable for those with little cooking experience. If you don't speak Japanese, don't worry! Optional Taiwanese interpreters (residing in Hiroshima) or English interpreters (residing in Hiroshima) are available, ensuring language barriers never hinder your experience
