－What you can expect－

Shared Hot Air Balloon Experience with 2 hours Fah Lanna Refreshing Spa Package 

           Flights operate with a minimum of 2 pax. If we receive a booking for 1 pax, we first need to check if there are already more passengers booked for that date. This is the experience of a lifetime! There’s simply no better way to see the beauty of northern Thailand’s Chiang Mai than by hot air balloon. During your flight, you will get a spectacular bird’s eye view of the gorgeous Chiang Mai scenery and the surrounding areas, expertly guided by your English-speaking pilot. You will be picked up from your hotel and enjoy the sunrise while you can experience the hot air balloon being prepared for takeoff. 

           You will be served coffee, tea, soft drinks and a snack while you watch the balloon filling with hot air and getting ready for take-off. Once in the air, enjoy breath-taking views for over an hour and gently float through the clouds taking as many amazing snaps as you can. 

           After around 45 minutes your pilot will safely navigate you back to ground and you’ll be brought back to the launch site where you will enjoy a Champagne toast and take pictures with the pilot and get to a snack. After your snack, it is time to relax and you’ll be whisked off to Chiang Mai’s award-winning Fah Lanna Spa for your massage. 

           You have a choice to be dropped off at the spa or go back to your hotel to relax and arrange the spa treatment time at a later time in the day or even another day. You can arrange this directly with the spa after booking.


— Important Information —

  • Minimum age for balloon package is 10 years old
  • Flights can only be operated with safe winds, clear sky and no rain. Flights require visibility of at least 4 km.
  • In case of unsuitable weather conditions, you will be provided the option to take the tour on an alternative date or be refunded in full.
  • Cancellation due to weather conditions, you may choose to still do the spa treatment get a partial refund
  • Physical Conditions/Health Concerns: Not suitable during pregnancy and for participants with back- or knee problems.
  • Flights are operated by experienced pilots with a commercial pilot license. The balloons are legally registered in Thailand and therefore checked by the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand. Every flight is under control of Chiang Mai Airport Tower.
  • Free pick up only available within Chiang Mai City. Extra charges will be applied for outside of the city and need to be checked case by case.


Spa:

The Spa visit can be arranged on the day of the flight from 10 am onwards but the timing is flexible. You can communicate if you would like to be dropped off from the balloon straight at the spa or if you wish to go back to your hotel after the balloon flight to take a rest and visit the spa at a later time or even another day.

Pick up times: 5.30 am for hotels within Chiang Mai City. For hotels outside of the city, pick up can be arranged at an additional cost and the pick-up time would be confirmed on case-by-case basis.

The pick-up service is provided by the Balloon company and operates in Chiang Mai city area. For hotel pick-ups outside of the City, an extra charge will incur. It depends on the distance to the city and will be confirmed on an individual basis. You can pay the extra charge directly to the Balloon Tour operator.
