In 2018, the hotel added 62 new guest rooms with private hot spring baths, a rarity in Japan, and also features separate large public baths for men and women. The hot spring water is kept at an ideal temperature using a circulation system that maintains the high-temperature source water, allowing guests to enjoy high-quality water without the need for added cold water.

The dining experience is highly regarded for its Japanese-style game cuisine, featuring local ingredients such as Ezo deer from Shiretoko and duck from Takikawa, allowing guests to savor the flavors of each season. The hotel is also well-known for its attentive service, including room accommodations tailored for expectant mothers and families with small children, as well as the rental of relaxation CDs.
