My first time in Chiang Mai
I participated in the Doi Suthep Temple + Wat Umong Night Tour.
It was a bit disappointing that it was raining, but it was still very enjoyable.
I wanted to see authentic Muay Thai up close, so I made a reservation in advance through KKday.
I just showed the voucher to the person at the reception and they exchanged it for a paper ticket.
It was about 400 yen cheaper than a ticket purchased on the day.
Even from the general seating area, I could see quite close up.
It was exciting and very entertaining!!
We visited a traditional tribal village in northern Thailand. Our guide clearly explained the customs and self-sufficient lifestyle of the local inhabitants. Along the roadside, we saw many spice plants and tropical fruits, such as dragon fruit, bananas, longan, jackfruit, pomegranates, guavas, and horn trees. In the Chiang Dao limestone caves, we saw the stalactites and stalagmites, bat caves, and a Buddha statue inside. The caves are divided into beginner and advanced levels; the advanced level isn't difficult, but it's definitely worth a visit. A staff member leads you in with a lamp and a torch. Inside, there are bats and small Buddha statues—a mysterious and exciting experience.
