We were scheduled to meet in the hotel lobby at 3:10 PM, and the pick-up arrived a little early. We arrived in Oslob in just over three hours! The driver was extremely reckless, like an amusement park attraction. Driving wasn't exactly safe... tailgating, constantly crossing the center lane... lol. We arrived early, but the car was abuzz when the driver left. We only had about an hour to see the whale sharks, so we were called right away while we were getting ready. It seemed like they drove quickly to avoid the wait! We rented a GoPro camera, and the staff repeatedly filmed us to get some great shots of the whale sharks, but after a short swim we got tired and headed back out onto the boat. The staff continued to film the whale sharks for us afterward, even transferring the data to our phones. We were incredibly grateful for their kindness. It was a wonderful memory.
