I absolutely loved this tour!!! The pick-up was at 2 AM, and although we were supposed to arrive at 5:30 AM, we arrived around 4 AM – it was still dark, and there were already many people queuing to get their number plates. We waited in the car for our turn to go out to sea. During the trip, people came up to ask about breakfast and GoPro rentals (550 pesos). They provided masks when we boarded the small boat; I recommend that those who can swim take off their life jackets so they can dive deeper and get full-body photos of the whale sharks. If you rent a GoPro, they'll keep taking photos for you, constantly going 3-2-1-Go (unending dives). There are wooden planks along the side of the boat for you to hold onto, so it's generally very safe. After the whale shark tour and breakfast, we drove to the canyoning area, about a 2-hour drive – basically just sleeping in the car. There's basically no time to change clothes, so I suggest bringing a towel to cover yourself, it gets very cold on the bus! Upon arrival, they'll provide equipment, help you fill out forms, and offer a zipline option (600 pesos/person), since walking takes 40 minutes! It's much safer and a great experience. For the canyoning and diving activities, the tour guide said there are one instructor per person, and over 2000 instructors in total. Walking in the jungle can be slippery, and there might be resistance or uncertain steps in the water, but the instructors will be there to hold onto you with your life jacket or let you hold onto them, so safety is ensured from start to finish. Before diving, they'll explain the correct posture and take photos and videos continuously, which is a lot of fun. If you're not afraid of water and enjoy diving, this trip should be enjoyable. However, with all the climbing and water activities, it can be quite physically demanding. I suggest bringing nothing but your phone (fully charged). Any expenses at rest stops can be paid back at the shop. Overall, the trip is great, highly recommended! :)
