Seeing snow for the first time was fantastic for me overall. Our guide, Oliver, was excellent; he was very kind, spoke three languages, and actively guided us throughout the trip. The itinerary was very well-planned, with ample time to explore, take photos, and enjoy the scenery at each stop. The hotel was comfortable, and the driver was a very skilled driver. Although the bus seats were a bit small, they were generally quite comfortable. I was lucky enough to see beautiful snowscapes. Although the heavy snowfall prevented me from seeing the Zao Snow Trees that day, and I only reached the first level of the cable car, it was still incredibly breathtaking. The foxes were also very cute.
The price was high, but the convenience was undeniable. They picked me up from the hotel, and while the driver was a bit reserved and didn't say much, it was still acceptable – at least he didn't try to strike up a conversation, which could have been awkward. Highway tolls and parking fees were added, so the actual price was a bit higher. It was a great travel experience, saving me the hassle of queuing, transferring, and parking; I could just get out and start exploring.
Our tour guide is Ashley from Hong Kong, she is super strong in three different languages explain the itinerary and attractions, and all attractions help take pictures, teach you where to eat and where to be careful where at what time what to eat will tell are well taken care of, and will share the history and moments of Japan, the happiest thing is to go to see the tree ice and Ginzan hot springs, so rock these days thick snow is really beautiful, and the Tibetan king cable car can walk the fast lane is really worth it, do not have to blow the wind and save a lot of time Once again thank you ASHELY for her attentive and considerate help (including helping to find tape and how to choose snow grabs and hiking waterproof shoes) I feel so lucky to be able to follow his group!
After arriving at the slopes, I looked for and purchased a coupon! It's great that you can buy it on the day. The restaurant menu items are generally 1,200-1,500 yen, so you can eat one. Great deal! The snow quality is good. It's not too crowded. The teachers at the (children's) school are also kind (we were able to enroll in the one-day school). The lifts are for two or more people. There are beginner runs that are suitable for first-time children. The facilities are also clean. The restaurant seems to have free Wi-Fi (although my smartphone battery ran out so I couldn't try it). Overall, the facilities and slopes were great. If I have the chance, I would like to return using this coupon.
Although it was a shared tour without a guide, the driver was very friendly, the ride was smooth, and the time was well managed. The Fox Village and Zao Snow Tree cable car trip was interesting and the scenery was beautiful and spectacular; however, in winter, you need to wear enough warm clothing and hats to visit Zao Snow Tree.
Matsushima is beautiful; if you go in the afternoon, you can see the sunset, making for a wonderful travel experience.
