The weather was perfect, the fireworks at Atami were spectacular, the seafood bowl was delicious, our tour guide Zhan Jie was enthusiastic and provided excellent service, and we arrived back at Tokyo Station on time and smoothly to catch our train. It was a fulfilling and perfect half-day trip!
Elsa, our tour guide, is very attentive and see to the needs of everyone in the group. Highly recommend to take the chairlift ride to top of Mt. Omuro (lift ticket is included in this tour package but offered as an option on others). Wish we had a bit more time at the Kinosaki Coast. The view is magnificent. Marin Town is a nice rest stop with shops for food, sweets, souvenirs, and local products. Great to grab some refreshments before the 2.5 hours ride back to Shinjuku.
Our tour guide, Xiangxiang, was very professional. She speaks Chinese, Korean, and Japanese, and gave us plenty of time to explore the attractions. From reminding us of various precautions before the trip to safely returning us to our destination at the end, she showed her attentiveness. She even helped take photos, ensuring that solo travelers could also get great pictures! Although Mount Fuji is a rare sight, it was a pity that we only caught a glimpse of its summit before leaving due to the thick clouds. However, visiting the surrounding attractions was still wonderful! For solo travelers who want to see as many sights as possible, a day trip is perfect.
