Guilin
Guilin is famous throughout the country for its beautiful landscapes. There are mountains of different shapes on both sides of the clear Li River, which you can enjoy by boat or bamboo raft. The main scenic spots include Elephant Trunk Mountain Scenic Area, Two Rivers and Four Lakes and the historic Jingjiang Prince's Mansion. The Lijiang River in the Yangshuo section is the highlight, and there are also large tracts of pastoral scenery, which is very suitable for cycling or hiking. In addition, the stacked terraces and magical caves around Guilin are also worth seeing.
