Because the vehicle was suddenly changed from a comfortable 20-seater to a 13-seater, I originally wanted a smaller car. The itinerary was forward, so I was looking forward to seeing the Twelve Apostles at sunset. On the downhill route, sitting on the left (single seat) offers views of the bay. The Evan driver was very friendly; some people got carsick on the road, so he made temporary stops at nearby viewpoints. The itinerary included a visit to Lorne Beach and an optional zoo (optional). If you don't want to go, you can eat nearby. There's a paid interactive dingo exhibit. Loch Ard and Knife Ridge Rocks were beautiful; it reminded me of where Jay Chou filmed his "July Aurora" video. The sunset was obscured by clouds, so the forward route is somewhat weather-dependent. The reverse route is suitable for daytime travel when the weather is good, allowing you to see the Great Ocean Road first. However, there are new platforms, so the photos are quite nice. There were also some solo travelers who helped each other take photos and had lunch. It was a very enjoyable trip.
