Because of heavy fog, we couldn't see much—everything was completely blanketed in white. The rides and facilities at Scenic World are definitely worth trying, but if you have to wait in long lines, I wouldn't recommend buying a ticket. Heading straight to Blue Mountains National Park for a walk might be a better choice instead.
I participated in a Blue Mountains stargazing tour. It was a truly amazing tour!
Although it was an afternoon tour, we were able to efficiently enjoy many places, including the zoo, the Three Sisters, the sunset, and the starry sky. There was ample time at each location, and it was great to be able to enjoy the scenery at a leisurely pace without feeling rushed. We even saw koalas at the zoo!
Our guide, Kelvin, was incredibly friendly and kind – the best guide ever! He was very knowledgeable about stars and explained everything carefully while we looked at the night sky. We were able to see the Milky Way and Starlink, which was incredibly moving! ✨
And Kelvin is a fantastic photographer! We were a pair, and he took so many beautiful photos, like a professional photographer. He even taught us some photography tips, which we really appreciated.
The free time in Katoomba was also ample for dinner, making the overall timing of the tour excellent.
The scenery, the starry sky, the tour content, and Kelvin himself – everything was fantastic! It was a wonderful memory. I highly recommend this tour! 😊✨
What a joy to join this tour!
Our first stop was the quokka we were looking forward to! Even though they were all sleeping, interacting with and feeding the animals was a wonderful experience!
Our second stop was the Blue Mountains. I highly recommend choosing the scenic option – it's the best way to experience the magnificent scenery! The following towns and two other attractions were also great! We arrived back near Hyde Park in Sydney before 5 PM!
A special thank you to our guide! He explained at the start of the day that this was a Korean-speaking tour, and he only spoke Korean throughout the entire trip. He answered questions in English, and at each attraction, he informed us of the meeting times and important information. Each time we boarded the bus, he gave at least 15 minutes of commentary in Korean. Although I couldn't understand him, his professionalism and dedication were evident.
Finally, a shout-out to KKDay! Being abroad and unable to use my phone in China, the platform's message reminders and trip updates were incredibly reassuring. Thank you, KKDay!
