We recommend you arrive 15 minutes before your lesson commences, so that we can get you fitted with the right sized wetsuit.

Change rooms and bathroom facilities are available for you to use before your lesson, as well as hot showers after your lesson has finished.

A storage area is also available for your belongings.

The SUP Skills Lesson is offered to participants aged 8 years and above. The SUP Journey is offered for ages 14+ years.
What days and weather conditions are best for the Anglesea River SUP Lessons?
Most days are suitable as the river is largely sheltered by surrounding bushland. Avoid strong-wind days; lessons may be adapted depending on conditions.
How do I book for a group over 10 people?
Group bookings are made on request. Email [email protected] with group details or call 1300 132 441 for discounted group pricing and availability.
Do I need to pre-book SUP hire?
No—SUP hire generally does not require pre-booking as there are plenty of boards in stock, but you can call to check availability. Seasonal trading hours may apply.
Does Go Ride A Wave have insurance?
Yes. Go Ride A Wave has $20m public liability insurance and $5m professional indemnity. Personal accidental cover is recommended via personal travel insurance.
