Guests will be picked up from their desired location in Jaipur and begin the journey towards the historic village of Abhaneri to visit the famous Chand Baori.
Built more than 1,000 years ago, Chand Baori is one of the oldest and deepest stepwells in India. The stepwell is renowned for its breathtaking geometric design featuring over 3,500 perfectly aligned narrow steps spread across 13 levels. Originally constructed to conserve water and provide relief from Rajasthan’s desert heat, this architectural masterpiece remains one of the most fascinating hidden gems of India.
Guests will also explore the nearby Harshat Mata Temple, an ancient temple dedicated to the Goddess of Happiness and Joy, known for its historic carvings and peaceful surroundings.
After exploring Chand Baori, continue the drive towards Fatehpur Sikri, the magnificent former capital of the Mughal Empire built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. Now recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Fatehpur Sikri is admired for its grand red sandstone architecture, royal palaces and historical importance.
During the visit, guests will explore major attractions including Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, the Tomb of Salim Chishti, Diwan-i-Khas, Panch Mahal and Jodha Bai Palace. The city beautifully blends Islamic, Persian and Hindu architectural styles and offers a fascinating insight into Mughal history and culture.
