Brahma performed a yagya (ritual fire ceremony) here and dropped a lotus from his hands, creating the sacred Pushkar Lake, where pilgrims bathe before offering prayers. The temple is adorned with a silver turtle at the entrance, symbolizing Brahma’s transport.
