ー SPOT INTRODUCTION ー Halong Bay is located in northern Vietnam, 180 kms from China, and is a vast bay of approximately 1,540 km² with approximately 2,000 strangely limestone rocks of various sizes floating on the surface. The beautiful scenery, which looks like a large landscape painting, is said to be the most scenic spot in Vietnam.

ー SPOT INTRODUCTION ー Sung Sot Cave was discovered by the French in 1901. They named it "La Grotte des Surprises" (Surprise Cave) to convey the beauty and grandeur of the cave, which is larger than expected, and because Sung Sot means surprise in Vietnamese. When you enter the cave, there are three rooms in order of small, medium and large. The last and largest room is a very large space that spreads out inside the cave, highlighting the beauty of the stalactites themselves.

ー TERM OF USE ー

We use a share shuttle limousine/bus for transportation. Still, on the day of the tour, if there is only one participant in total, or if you make a reservation one day in advance of the departure date, if the limousine bus is full, a 35-seat bus may be used.
If the cruise is full as the booking is sent to our system, we will contact you to advise you to change the date of departure or change to other cruises that still have availability.
Regarding the sea kayaking or rowing boat options, for safety reasons, we recommend row boats for travelers with children or infants.

ー CHILDREN POLICY ー

(1) For Dolphin Day Cruise [Children's age will be based on birth year]

2 paying adults can only bring 1 child aged 0-1 (Sharing seats & meals with parents). A child ticket will be required for each additional child.

(2) For Ambassador Day Cruise [Children's age is based on date of birth.]

Children under 2 years old: Group under 9 adults: 200,000 VND for the first child / Group from 9–16 adults: FOC for the first child
Children from 2–under 5 years old: Charged 75% of the adult price
Children from 5–under 12 years old: Charged 85% of the adult price
Children from 12 years old and above: Charged 100% (adult price)

(3) For Luna Day Cruise [Children's age is based on date of birth.]

Children under 2 years old: Free of charge (maximum 2 children per booking). From the 3rd child onward, the rate will be applied as children aged 2–4.

ー CANCELLATION POLICY ー

Depending on bad weather conditions or the local authority’s decision, the cruise may be canceled.

(1) If the cruise is cancelled at the departure time, the itinerary will be changed to Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Hang Mua or a similar tour. In that case, we will contact you by email.

(2) If the cruise is cancelled after the departure time, you will return to Hanoi without any fee charged.

(3) If the cruise is cancelled after departure time and you are already aboard and have lunch, we will charge the lunch + 2-way transfer + entrance tickets (70%), we will refund you the rest of 30% of booking cost.

[Customers who head straight to the airport after the tour]

If it is a late-night flight on the same day, you can check out of the hotel before departure time and continue the tour with your luggage (You can store your luggage on the bus). On the way back, it will be a long way to get to the airport when you return to the hotel, so on the way you will arrive at around 20:00 - 20:15 at AEON MALL Long Bien from there you can take a taxi to the airport, which takes about 35 minutes. Close to the airport, you can shop and have dinner at the airport before flight departure.

Q: Does the bus pick me up on time as schedule?

A: We will try to be on time, however, traffic in Hanoi is very busy in the morning, and the group tour bus needs to pick up other customers. It also depends on another customers’ punctuality. Please understand this and be patient to wait for the bus at hotel lobby to be picked up.

Q: I would like to know if the accommodation is eligible for pick-up and drop-off.

A: We cannot make any guarantees at this time as it may change depending on the number of participants and the schedule on the day of participation. Once you have made your reservation, the local operating company will contact you when your reservation is confirmed. Please check your reservation confirmation email (voucher).

Q: Is it possible for one person to participate on a normal cruise?

A: It is possible to make a reservation, but since the minimum number of participants is less than 10, if there are no other participants on the scheduled date, we will either inform you of another date or cancel your reservation. (*Basically, answers will be answered at least 2 days before the participation date)

Q: What kind of outfit should I wear to participate in the tour?

A: Please wear clothes and shoes that are easy to move in. If you wish to experience sea kayaking during the tour, please bring your swimsuit and towel. *We will guide you to a changing area. *Your pants may get wet during the sea kayaking experience.

Q: Where should I experience kayaking/rowing?

A: The kayaking experience location is around Luon Cave.

Q: Are sea kayak or rowing boat free of charge?

A: Sea kayaks and rowboats are both optional, if you join, you can pay the guide to arrange it for you.

1. One rowing boat can accommodate 4 people, and your pants won't get wet. For those who are not good at physical activity or who want to take a leisurely trip, we recommend taking a bamboo boat rowed by a local.

2. Kayaking is a bit difficult if you are not physically strong, as you have to row it yourself. Sea kayaking is for two people, and your pants will get wet, so it is recommended that you bring a change of clothes. If you are using a sea kayak, you can leave your baggage on the ship's chair such as your cell phone or camera, but if you want to carry your wallet, you will have to carry it yourself. When experiencing sea kayaking, you can take out your shoes and participate barefoot. No sandals required.
