Enjoy the flavors of a long-established restaurant. Savor our signature 'Kamo Sui Soba-iri' (duck soup with noodles) and local Oita specialties. We accommodate everyone from solo diners to large groups.
Established in 1955, our restaurant is a classic izakaya. Our signature 'Kamo Sui Soba-iri' features a perfect balance of duck broth and a sharp touch of salt, offering a light yet rich flavor. Our course meals include Oita's local 'Ryukyu' dish, homemade pork tempura, and karaage (fried chicken). We also offer a wide selection of drinks, including local Oita sake. The interior has a relaxing atmosphere with counter and table seating available, making it suitable for various occasions, from solo dining to large banquets.
Our signature dish, "Kamo Sui Soba" (Duck Soup Soba), is a masterpiece made with plenty of duck meat, innards, and burdock. It is slowly cooked in a clay pot after an order is placed, bringing out the full flavor of the duck. It is served in a small pot so that even one person can enjoy it, and is characterized by its light yet rich flavor. Chewy champon noodles float in the salty duck broth. Please enjoy the depth of the soup in which the umami of the duck has been infused.
Our course menu allows you to enjoy our specialty dishes all at once, so if you can't decide what to choose, be sure to order it. It includes Oita's local dish "Ryukyu" and Kamo Sumi Soba, which will give you a rich taste. Fish dishes are served as sashimi or fried depending on the freshness of the day. We also recommend crispy deep-fried pork tempura and juicy deep-fried chicken, which is a half-carcass that is slowly fried. Chicken giblets have a unique flavor. Please enjoy this luxurious course where every dish is carefully prepared.
Founded in 1955, Choromatsu has a relaxed atmosphere that only a long-established restaurant can offer. A lantern reading "Kamo-sui and local sake" is the landmark at the front of the store, and once you step through the noren curtain, a peaceful space spreads out before you. We offer counter seats that can be used casually by one person, as well as table seats suitable for groups of 4 to 6 people. By changing the seating layout, we can also accommodate medium-sized gatherings. We can also accommodate reservations for up to 30 people, so you can use it for a wide range of occasions.

Japanese restaurants strictly adhere to the reservation time system. If you are late, it will be considered as a voluntary cancellation of the reservation. Latecomers cannot request changes, cancellations, or refunds for this reason.
The Promotional photos are for reference only. If the actual dishes served is different than the reference, please reflect that to the restaurant, who will be responsible for this matter fully.
Dining time is limited. If you're late and therefore shorten the dining time, the dining time cannot be extended.

If dining is not possible due to a natural disaster, KKday will refund the reservation fee.
