At 'Rikishi Ryori Kotogaume,' run by former Sekiwake Kotogaume, you can enjoy Chanko hot pot passed down from sumo stables and dishes using ingredients shipped directly from Toyama. Pair them with Kyushu sweet potato shochu or Toyama sake! With seating ranging from counter seats to private rooms, it is perfect for business dinners and banquets! 【Notice of September Holidays】 We will be closed on September 6th, 12th, and 28th. You can enjoy the authentic taste directly taught by a sumo stable. The chicken bone-based salt chanko "Suisho Nabe" is a popular dish containing 12 kinds of ingredients such as chicken meatballs, chicken, and cabbage. In addition, the vegetable-filled "Motsuyaki" is served hot on a hot plate. The original "Sumo Wrestler Miso" made from a blend of five types of ingredients is perfect for dipping in cucumbers. We also have other proud dishes such as "Katsuo Tataki," direct delivery menu items such as sweetfish and wild vegetables, and freshly fried "Satsumaage."
We offer a wide variety of drinks. We have 30 types of potato shochu, mainly from Kyushu. Enjoy your favorite drink, from classic to rare ◎ In addition, we offer a lineup of sake, many of which are from Toyama Prefecture, and basically offer brands carefully selected by the owner. Our restaurant has a traditional atmosphere. Inside the restaurant, you'll find mawashi (Japanese mawashi) and other sumo-related decorations. We have a total of 50 seats, including 6 counter seats that are perfect for solo diners, and private rooms for 8, 15-20, and 20+ people! We also have sunken kotatsu and tatami rooms, so you can relax and unwind. Please feel free to use our restaurant for banquets and business entertainment◎
Kotogaume himself serves customers at our restaurant, and the chef is also a former sumo wrestler. We also have a wide selection of souvenirs and gifts, so you can enjoy the taste of Kotogaume sumo cuisine at home. We also have a variety of chanko nabe sets that include everything from soup to ingredients, as well as the very popular "sumo wrestler miso" and our homemade "spicy cod roe" ◎
