[Tottori Sand Dunes]

Japan's largest accessible sand dunes, spanning 2.4km north to south and 16km east to west along Tottori City's Sea of Japan coast. Designated a national natural monument in 1955 and selected for Japan's Geological Top 100 in 2007. Don't miss the "Sand Museum" with admission included!

[Sand Museum]

Located within the Tottori Sand Dunes, it's the world's only museum displaying sand sculptures, known as "Sand Art," exclusively created using sand and water from the Tottori Sand Dunes. With the core concept of "Traveling the World in Sand," the museum exhibits change annually, and this year's theme is "Sand Traveling the World: Egypt Edition," currently open for visitors!

Worship at the shrine of matchmaking, which is the stage of the myth "The White Rabbit of Inaba"!

Shirato Shrine, also called "White Rabbit Daimyojin," has a rich historical background mentioned in ancient texts. It is believed to have healing powers for skin ailments and burns and is considered a deity for matchmaking, associated with the mythological figures Ōkuninushi and Yakami-hime. In 2010, it was designated as Japan's first "Lover's Sanctuary."

This tour is a Japanese tour. The tour conductor will provide language support using a translator (Pocket Talk).
This is not a private tour, you will enjoy the tour with other guests.
We might cancel the tour if we do not have at least 8 participants by 7 days before the scheduled departure.

The order of the itinerary may be partially changed.
You may not be able to see the starry sky due to weather conditions. Also, please note that the tour will be held even in case of bad weather.
The return time may be significantly delayed due to road conditions. In that case, we will not be responsible for any compensation if transportation to your home is lost. Please note.

Reminders

  • Important Notes During Bus Tour

  • We ask for your cooperation in refraining from drinking alcohol on the bus.

  • To the members of the odd-numbered group: Please be informed that you may have to share seats with other passengers on the bus.

  • As it is stipulated by the law of Japan, please wear your seat belt on the tour bus.

  • Please do not stand up or walk while the tour bus is running.

  • Seating on the bus is assigned by H.I.S staff, please do not change your seat during the tour.

  • Please kindly be punctual and arrive at the designated meeting place on time. The bus will leave on time and will not wait for latecomers.

  • If latecomers wish to rejoin the group again afterward, all transportation fees will be at the customer's own expense.

  • Please kindly put on the sticker which will be given to you by the tour guide during the tour, make sure it can be seen clearly.

  • Please do not stick it on leather goods as seal marks may remain.

  • Please do not use the seat reclining function or change the seat setting.

  • Please kindly switch all your electronic devices such as mobile phones and game machines etc. to manner mode with no sound.

  • Talking on mobile phones and video calls are prohibited on the tour bus.

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited on the tour bus.

  • Arrival time at each sightseeing sport may differ depending on traffic conditions.

  • Use of drones for shooting or other purposes is prohibited during the tour.

  • Please do not use perfume, spray or change baby diapers on the bus, as it may cause trouble to other customers.

  • Please kindly manage your valuable belongings by yourself.

  • After the tour, please kindly take all the garbage with you and do not leave them on the bus.

  • Please do not forget and leave any personal belongings on the bus after the tour.

  • In regards to the fruit picking tour, please note that it is consumable only within the farm. Bringing it home in your own bag is strictly prohibited.

  • If you are unable to follow the above regulations and cause any nuisance on the bus, you may be asked to get off the bus even in the middle of the tour.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 11 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • For cancellations made 8 to 10 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 20% will apply
  • For cancellations made 2 to 7 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
  • For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 40% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once the cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 14 working days.
