Located about 3 kilometers northeast of Chenggong Township, Taitung County, this is a unique scenic area composed of offshore islands and coral reef coasts. Formed by volcanic eruptions, the island is scattered with strange rocks. Boasting natural landscapes, Sanxiantai is the most famous scenic spot on the East Coast, and travelers who visit the island are always awestruck by its beauty. In the early morning, the eight-arch cross-sea bridge and the ocean are painted with golden dawn. Every New Year's Day, Sanxiantai gathers people who want to catch the first ray of sunlight.
